It is a privilege to hear anything from Dick Thompson. An outstanding individual with a wealth of experience.
As a civilian I have completed four deployments to Afghanistan and two to Kosovo with the British military, but my current UK based job is by far the most stressful thing I have done - stressful job, combined with family responsibilities etc. Although what you are discussing makes sense, and covers behaviours we may have developed, it is really useful to hear them broken down into the what and why.
Thank you both - this has been helpful for me, and I look forward to catching the rest of the videos.
And of course, any stories Dick Thompson wants to share on the way will be much appreciated 👍

Thank you for your service to Col. Thompson. Ive rather enjoyed anytime ive been lucky enough to hear his stories. As well any commentors, if youve served, thank you. I do want to raise a question. How was thermite fused molecules in all of the trade tower rubble? Why would they hurry an load all the steel from the towers and ship it to china, why not a local scrapyard. If the enemy had a pilot captured and televised how they lit him on fire to die, why wouldnt they admit to the towers? Afraid? Think that burnt pilot speaks otherwise. Paul Bremer who was one the top dogs on financial place on 80th floor. Right where the computer hard drives hoding the acct history of he financial place was targeted to hit with the plane. paul bremer had no previous exp in middle east as a liason. Yet he was appointed us liason to the middle east. Somebody better have some answers

Was the mission you talk about in the beginning before or after your R&R excursion? The more missions you'd been on & experienced though all different do you feel it had an effect on your stress level either positive or negative? Thank you sir for sharing your experiences.

And two years later.... IRT 'Covid Stress' - we see people who have not 'mentally' recovered... they are 'walking wounded'...

Im here to hear this gentleman's testimonies, but I'm very intrigued because this is now the 3 rd time I've heard about black cloaked figure and one of the stories had more than one in a area, the other being down in the tunnels from a tunnel rats story. Is there more in the book about this supernatural encounter or more in the other parts to hear rest of it?

First off, thank you so much for providing a platform for these amazing individuals to share their knowledge and thank you Dr. Thompson for inspiring a younger generation to be better, smarter and more stress resilient. My question is as follows:
What sorts of Stress Effect management skills did you learn while in Vietnam, either learned in combat, or talking with other Team Leaders, and how has that influenced your understanding today?
    Thank you again, Sam Ferguson

So amazed at the work you pulled off in Vietnam and so pleased that you lived to tell the stories that you tell today.... I am truly truly amazed a man could live through all that. And thank you sir so much from the bottom of my heart for your service to this country
