In reponse to @BritishPaz49 who created a survey that shames me as a victim, simply asking for any help and support for escalating costs un my civil case against Alex Belfield @AlexBelfieldTheVoiceOfReason
I am one of the several victims who were harassed by former BBC presenter Alex Belfield, which led to him being jailed for five and a half years. After his trial concluded, but before he was sentenced, Belfield publicly revealed information about my HIV status. I am now claiming compensation from him in the civil courts, under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.
I am not claiming defamation, as @BritishPaz49 has incorrectly reported.
I have also already spent £4,000 of my own money which I had been advised would have been enough to cover my legal costs, had Belfield not refused to settle my case at the first opportunity. I am know left to raise £15,000 for the next stage in court proceedings, which I did not expect and cannot afford.
I am using the Crowd Justice platform as a guarantee that the money raised through donations goes directly to my solicitor, and not in to my pocket. I will not see a penny of it.
I have already stated that I will then donate all the money I raise through Crowd justice to the Terrence Higgins Trust, when if I win, as the platform is not set up to issue refunds.
I hope that @BritishPaz49 will consider these points and do further research before he makes the video about me, that he has said he plans to.

Please help me to raise legal fees to claim compensation from ex BBC presenter Alex Belfield who harassed and stalked me, and then threatened “he’d be back”.

Go educate yourself. I paid £4,000 of my own money to begin a civil case, I was assured that’s all it would cost. As Belfield indicated he was prepared to settle out of court. He then changed his mind, leaving me with the only option to loose everything I had spent already or raise a further £11,000 to keep fighting him.
I asked for help. I raised nearly £2,000. But now I have stopped asking, and paid a further £9,000 of my own money.
I also pledged to pay forward all the donations to charity, if I win back costs.
You’re welcome to your opinion but as per the message of this video, stop fucking shaming me for asking for help.
It obviously isn’t a get rich quick scheme, as it’s taking me over a year already to begin these proceedings. And the only people getting rich are the solicitors thanks to Belfield dragging his heels.

So sorry to hear that other UA-camrs are ganging up on you because you’re asking for help. They should know better. I don’t see them criticising Belfield for conning pensioners and the vulnerable out of money. Simon Webb from the History Debunked channel also made a Belfield video recently about you. He just talked nonsense and didn’t give all the facts. They are doing exactly what Belfield did by inciting pile ons and abuse from his moronic followers, all for clickbait. I don't entirely agree with the way the Belfield case was handled as I think he was over-sentenced, but that's just me looking at it coldly and objectively. I certainly sympathise with your experiences because I have had similar experiences myself. My advice, for what it's worth, is to try and ignore it all. Little people have tiny minds and small thoughts.

I’m not sure if I can entirely agree with regards to the sentencing.
I still believe that the women did not get the justice they deserved.
In our case. Where there were eight complainants, Belfield was found not guilty of the women, and then found guilty of two counts of aggravated stalking (with a penalty of 2 years 6 months imprisonment) and two counts of simple stalking (with a penalty of 13 weeks imprisonment) against the men.
I actually feel the women suffered far more than I did.
They were subjected to over a decade of abuse, and because of failings by the BBC and the police to act sooner and record evidence.
Had Belfield been found guilty of all eight counts. His total sentence would have been 20 years.
If he had not stalked multiple people, he would not have received such a long sentence.

Yes I am asking for money, just like your friend Belfield did. Except mine is for an actual law suit, unlike Belfield who lied and pretending he was taking legal action, when he was really just ripping people off.

@@Tad1945 I too like Paz, although he doesn't like Alex. As far as I'm concerned, I don't hate people who don't agree with or like Alex. I happen to like Alex and think that the sentence he got was too long - even many people who despise him have said the same. However, there are people who hate him that think it wasn't long enough - just like Emma L, who constantly stalks me and that Retro goon, who has lied about banning me from his channel. I've been informed that Retro IS a liar and don't I know it!!
All victims of belfield should be able to sue belfield for the level of harm he did. Unfortunately the legal system in this country mean only the rich can afford to sue unless you crowd fund as is in this case.
Especially those who had to take him to court in the first place just to get him to stop the harassment.
I mean for heavens sake the man has 4 convictions and 10 stalking prevention orders against him plus lost one civil case against him. Plus a second civil case pending.
Not to mention the 1000’s of people who gave money in false belief belfield was going to sue the bbc. Belfield know he couldnt sue the bbc but begged for the money anyway. I do believe the police may be looking into this fraud. Yes it was only £5-£10-£50 at a time but the scale of deception was massive.
Ive donated was only a few pounds.
Hang on, if you want to sue him, thats absolutely fine that is your right no argumentsfrom me there, but asking others for help so you can sue is a bit cheeky. You want to sue him, you pay. Dont ask for help when its your choice to sue him. And what happens if you fail in sueing him, then what. Pay it yourself

Costs insurers regularly fund litigation out of their own pockets, taking the risk of losing all the money - should they close their businesses? Asking for help funding litigation is perfectly normal.

You’ve completely missed the point of my video. I am asking for help. If you don’t want to offer any, then don’t, but don’t be a dick and don’t shame me, it makes you the horrible person. I hope that if you ever experience half of what my family, myself and all the victims put up with, and you find yourself backed in to a corner where you need to ask for help, that you get it, because all I try to be is kind, and you’re clearly not.
