If he says, "I don't like acting", who will feel like watching his movies in theatres? He is a good actor. His movies secret,cheena trophy and bullet diaries were good movies. He promotes his movies as if noone should watch his movies . He promoted Varshangalku shesham well. He said negative about that movie after 2 weeks making sure they collected enough money.But in other interviews , he doesn't show any confidence in his face. People will not feel like watching his movies. If he stop saying negative about himself and his movies, he can grow. In VS, he is not the only hero. In thira also shobhana got more importance. Other directors are sincere to him.
I’ve watched few of his recent movies and he is good. His expressions and dialogue delivery are excellent but movies are from 1st time directors but sloppy writing/ screenplay. I always wonder why good directors don’t cast him.
I may sound like a broken record .. but I’ve watched few of recent Dhyan Sreenivasan movies and he is quite good with expressions & dialogue delivery. I hope other good/veteran directors take notice of this and cast him in better movies. He is so much better than a lot of ‘small stars’ who also throw a lot of attitude around and don’t know how to act. I wish he prioritizes better directors and better stories
