Right out of the intro Bubbie brings so much good vibe and positivity, i love this dude so much! Also, I think I just realized the difference between Rick's content and the GoodGood videos (even each individual channels): Ricks' content feels more intimate. You can hear all the conversations and back and forth. It's not just a quick explanation of the shot and cut to the next one. I never really noticed it before now but really enjoyed it. It shows a side of Bubbie and Micha's relationship that's pretty cool too!
i can't even describe how invested i got in this match...this is what golf is all about. to see how happy both guys were with the quality play from their opponent was incredible. this is what golf is all about!
I mean how can you not love Bubbie??? He is the guy everyone wants to have as a friend, an acquaintance, a co-worker, etc….the guy is just a blessing to be around…his positivity and enthusiasm and courtesy and genuineness is off the charts…. And I’ve watched a lot of Good Good content, and Bubbie is like that in every video!!!!! Also I’m really starting to like Rick Shiels a lot too…. Great collab guys, and a bonus having Micah on the bag for Bubbie, aside from advice I feel Micah gives Bubbie a lot of confidence when they are together…it’s nice to see their friendship

I’ve been watching Good Good from the early GM golf days years ago and I always thought there was something mad about how far they hit the ball, I thought it was something to do with the American air in hot climates being easier to travel through or whatever… But my god Bubbie getting to a 600 yard par 5 with a 3 wood and a 6 iron was just ridiculous
Not to take anything away from them, but they’re at the peak age to generate speed. As someone who could do that in my 20’s and 30’s (albeit with less accuracy) it makes 50 year old me a bit jealous.😂
Also using different lofts … some clubs might have a 6 iron lofted at what most 4-5 irons are… so on and so on. Bubbie can clearly launch the ball but just something to note so you don’t feel soo inadequate if that makes sense …
he Good Good guys are all very skilled golfers and I am really enjoying this series. Bubbie is definitely my favourite guy. Very modest and unpretentious and his joy is contagious. He really enjoys himself out there and never lets a bad shot bring him down. I think he would enjoy playing with almost anyone, even an old duffer like me. He is actually a very good golfer. Great to see.
the length of the hole the distance if you were follow the intended path of the hole, i.e. 3 shots to the green for par 5. if you can hit a ball long you can cut a corner and reach the green in 2, which could be mayb 510yds instead. depends on how angled the dogleg is.
@@suivzmoi yeah but that hole isn't a big dogleg. It curves from left to right, but then back to the left so it's relatively straight. I'm sure it wasn't playing the full 610 yards but still isn't crazy impressive. You can see what rick hits on that hole to compare.
@@Butcho22 That hole actually has an acute dogleg that turns at almost a right angle. It would play considerably shorter than 610. Bubbie is still a beast though.

Rick Shiels is a class act. Period. I know it was a match, and Rick and Bubbie are both competitive, but Rick, Bubbie, and Micah were rooting for each other and complimenting each other so much and so sincerely it felt like I was watching three friends enjoying their Sunday match. I love the GG videos, but whoever edits Rick's videos did a fantastic job of leaving in all the human (and humorous) moments over the nine holes.
Some of the funniest moments in golf youtube history in this video. The reactions by Rick to some of Bubbies shots, the comment about where is Rick the human being, cart banter about stewardesses... just goes on and on. I'd give this one a hundred likes if I could.
Yeah they can be a bit vanilla and way too positive at times. I guess you have to with a lot of young kids watching. The GM long Drive CA series has seen some good natured chirping and competitiveness so that is good to see.

The production on this is like tv quality. This could have aired on TV and everyone would have loved it. Bubbie and Micah have a great atmosphere together, actually all three had a great atmosphere together. Normally Bubbie probably is the most relatable golfer, but this was lights out.

The production on this is like tv quality. This could have aired on TV and everyone would have loved it. Bubbie and Micah have a great atmosphere together, actually all three had a great atmosphere together. Normally Bubbie probably is the most relatable golfer, but this was lights out.
