I’ll be honest this is more entertaining than watching the tour. It’s a true challenge. I’d love to see you and another golfer play with clubs from Nicklaus’ era
That's the most impressive 6 holes of golf I've seen in a long time! Your skill level is off the charts. I can't believe you were able to hit those clubs knowing what kind of compensations your body had to make. Thanks for an enjoyable 20 minutes. I suggest a 6-hole challenge with hickory shafted clubs and gutta-percha balls.
You are such an amazing athlete! I believe you could play with a wooden club & some crooked sticks! 😂 I'm saving my pennies so I can maybe get to see you play in Nashville! I live in east Tennessee & am retired! Lord willing I will be able to see you play in person! Keep up the good work & God bless you always! 🙏🏼 ✝️ 🕊️ 🤍
I once had to play a rental set of clubs which had super soft shafts, and I found that I could hardly hit them at all even with my much slower swing speed (they wanted to go straight right). I don't know how Bryson could pick them up and hit them anywhere near straight.
Reminds me of my dad, may he rest in peace, as we chatted on the course one day. We were talking about the pros and the clubs they use, and how dialed in and tailored for them they are. He said, "Sure, they have club fitters who get every club perfect for them, but those guys could beat us playing with a banana on a string." Lord, how I miss him, along with the time out on the course.
My dad is 65 and I recently picked up golf and have been playing golf with him every other weekend and I do not take that for granted. He also beats me still at 65 and yeah I’m not great but still
I love to watch these challenges to see your mind at work. It kind of brings you down to "weekend golfer" level. You know guys who own clubs but have no idea how far any of them go. They don't fit so constantly adjusting everything. But the cool thing is taking your golf swing knowledge and club knowledge and watching you adjust. Especially watching you clean clubs, something very few weekends do thanks.
But why couldn't he have done it with a more realistic set of clubs?!!? Most golfers you see on the course aren't using WALMART sets of clubs... but many might be using 10, 15, 20 year old sets of various brands they've acquired over the years that were originally middle of the market (not high end, but not walmart). Show people what Bryson can do with clubs that arent fancy but arent just POS walmart clubs. Something average. Show average golfers the reason you're not breaking 90 isn't cause you're using a 5 or 10 year old set, its just the skill. I think many would like to see what Bryson could do with their sorts of clubs.
Yeah, was thinking the same thing. If I hit that batch of drives with my G430, I’d be patting myself on the back talking about how good I was driving it that day. 😂
Your UA-cam videos have made me a fan. From the more serious videos where you're going through your thought process to ones like this where you're having fun. Every video is just watch.
I am more impressed with his joviality. He hit balls every day, so it is expected that he will do wonder with any club. But his demeanor is extremely friendly and down to Earth.
It's really wonderful to come across people who freely share valuable information online. You never know what kind of knowledge you might stumble upon that could have a lasting impact on your life.
Without a doubt, this is the most entertaining golf video on You Tube. A U.S. Open Champion, the most powerful pro golfer on the planet, playing with a cheap, partial junior set of clubs from Walmart and shooting even par. At the same time, having great fun for our enjoyment. Way to go Bryson (and Chase). Destined to be a classic.....
What would also be really interesting to see is how much he could lower his' score if he first spent a couple days with these clubs getting much more familiar with them.
This is so great! You will have every junior golfer with this set of clubs loving you (even more) and proud that you were playing their clubs! So cute!!❤️😊
I’m one of those guys before I started seeing you (Bryson) on UA-cam I didn’t think I would like you just because of false perception but dude I am literally one of your biggest fans at this point you are an incredible golfer but more importantly an incredible human being. Extremely relatable and a genuine talent. Golf needed you and you showed up in a big way. Kudos dude!

Bryson: Awesome round! We have a few golf stores and I've already sent your video to a few friends. Your Junior set challenge is proof that golfer's skills are more important than having the greatest and latest clubs. I look forward to more of your great videos on youtube! Great editing as well!
Higher handicap? Get a decent set of older used irons like Callaway Berthas. Can't go wrong with those for 100 bucks or so. Pros could play those just fine so don't think they are outdated for your level.

This is the most impressive display of golf skill I’ve ever seen. Damn!!
Golf needs more characters like Bryson, top man.
Buddy goes out and does good good better. New fav channel
nah bryson this is actually crazy, so talented man. wow
One of the most enjoyable videos of any kind that I’ve watched recently. I absolutely love your positivity. I really miss you on the PGA Tour. At least I still get to see you in the majors. Thanks for putting out such great content.
Why do you miss him on the PGA Tour? We get to see way more golf from him on the LIV Tour. Plus, he plays every round on the weekend. His team is #1 on their tour.
Is it possible to play with a series of equipment? Golf equipment that Nicklaus / Palmer/ Hogan etc played. Maybe golf balls would be a hard find
I’m so confused why you can’t watch LIV?
@@Tee-PayneGolf right? It's literally free to watch every round on an app that you can download to your phone or TV.
You hit kid clubs as far as I hit my normal clubs 😂😂
Bryson: Awesome round! We have a few golf stores and I've already sent your video to a few friends. Your Junior set challenge is proof that golfer's skills are more important than having the greatest and latest clubs. I look forward to more of your great videos on youtube! Great editing as well!
190yds with a juniors 7-iron!!!
Haha just seeing him use those clubs cracked me up
Bryson hits a Walmart junior driver farther than I can hit a $600 driver. Insane
Why that insane he's a tour pro you're likely a hack

Awesome! Love these videos! Great showing this week at the PGA Championship. Lets go get that US Open now!
That cut to the Masters scoreboard is brutal 😂
That was incredible and dis heartening 😅
The funniest thing was that it said "PGA TOUR" on the bag....lol
Cease and Desist letter incoming
Surprised he didn’t cross pga tour out or troll them somehow. I’m sure he was tempted but decided not to
Too good Bryson! Great player and person, I am always pulling for you. 👍
2:22 “I didn’t win so I gotta try something new” 😂
Soo don't spend money on new clubs... Just be better at golf. Got it
Yep. Easy fix..
Seems like the message, yes.
Higher handicap? Get a decent set of older used irons like Callaway Berthas. Can't go wrong with those for 100 bucks or so. Pros could play those just fine so don't think they are outdated for your level.
Yep just play better 😅
@@be4st856 There are a handful of fundamentals all pros have down & you can have whatever creative swing around those.
