Even though it's funky, I think that's where you should put your focus on, the funkiness. Even if it's not the prettiest watch, the crazy design is where the value is and as a true collector it does have value in your collection purely for the appreciation of innovation and pushing the limits.
I think the bracelet is a better choice. I am a fan of odd ball watches, so this one is good. But! That rotor is a little distracting. I don't think I would want to drive with that on.

Exactly, that is what attracted me to it. I actually like it much better now that it's on the bracelet. Made the watch feel less like a toy
