You shoukd try panel bond. Tiger Seal, aka 'Mansoori Glue'. It has glass beads in the resin, sticks to anything and is impossible to come apart. They use it literally to hold supercars together..no joke. McLaren,Ferrari, Lamborghini and Aston-Martin all up it on their cars instead of riveting or welding things together,
