I love how Max sat on this case for 3 years! Now all of the sudden he makes it everybody else's problem to get the word out
Exactly, it’s so wild how much urgency he pretends to act with now that he’s releasing his video but when he wasn’t actively making the content, it was perfectly fine to sit on it instead of, you know, go to law enforcement, or hell even other creators in this field to cover her story to get it out as soon as possible at the very least.
And no, the excuse of “Well Spencer only wanted me personally to cover it” is not a good reason for sitting on (if true) such a huge, dangerous and horrible case for years. You are supposed to be the “professional” here with knowledge and experience and you should’ve known better than to let Spencer do things that actively hurt her potential case, and stop her or at the very least strongly advise her to explore better alternative options.
Spencer’s story is becoming less and less believable by the day everytime Max or her speak up about their case. Maybe there’s some truth in the story but you have to wonder how much of it is potentially exaggerated or made up all together with how much things don’t line up to any normal logic here.
Spoiler: MamaMax doesn’t take any accountability whatsoever.

He’s only saying sorry for the sake of saying sorry. It’s clear in the video he somehow still doesn’t see why he’s in the wrong, still thinks he’s just a hero/good guy who’s simply misunderstood and only “apologizing” to try to take the heat off of him.
Like how can you in the same apology video that’s supposed to be about owning up to your bad actions, simultaneously say how you’re frustrated about why people can’t just listen to the victim’s story without evidence? That’s literally what everyone is criticizing you for and in your apology to addressing this is essentially to say this is actually the right thing to do while doing a half hearted sorry and offer some vague “taking accountability” statement?

Whether this situation is real or not both reflects poorly on Max and Spencer rightfully so. If it's real, Max and Spencer has done such a poor job trying to make this aware to the public that people are starting to not even believe the story and Spencer was a massive contribution to this alleged cults work because she said she was the one recruiting more girls. If it's not real then Spencer is an evil psycho who made up this elaborate story for clout and Max is an complete moron for believing it. There is no way in which this ends well. Even if the "best ending" happened where Max proved it all, it was real and actually got Glendan in jail, people will still not trust Max on future cases based solely on how poorly he did all others. So in short overall there is no way I think Max can recover from this situation and I'm glad honestly because he's done evil stuff. He's doxxed people, been a complete psycho and all sorts.

Man, I actually kind of feel bad for him for being such a weird looser. I've been there and I also struggled, but at some point you need to actually, and not just say so, I mean *actually* take responsibility and see that you're not on the right path, especially if so many people critizice you.

@@TheAnimatedGamer sure but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen, but everyone keeps talking about only evidence, yes evidence IS IMPORTANT, but I can at least understand where max is coming from when he said the stuff about not just listening to a story anymore and you need iron clad evidence, even though the law disagrees to a certain extent, if they agreed with iron clad evidence for these situations in the general sense not specifically this situation, as this situation I agree it does need evidence if it’s true that it’s an online sx cult, , but in general the law can still convict without the evidence due to it being usually really difficult to have any evidence on a assault situation , but yeah it’s done online so this one definitely needs hard evidence,
