I have the second model. Its one of my favorites, alongside my Blue Streak. It was the Air Force that bought a bunch in the 1960s. They used them for urban-based personell who were unlikely to use a firearm and had limited, or no range access. They used the 160s to meet their small arms training and qual requirements.
I have had a couple 180’s first variant and the die cast trigger model. Basically the same thing but only one co2. Also the beeman qb line of co2 guns are a reincarnation of this action I have a beeman ar2079 and its almost a perfect copy of the final 160 variant
