Thank you for the positive thought & taking a look at the video. 🙂
@@79HurstOldsGuy keep ‘‘em coming!
I have one when I got mine it was in really bad shape I rebuilt it from the ground up the wood was still in very good shape but I had to put it in my sandblast cabinet and sandblasted it and then reboot it the barrel is in a really good shape it does about 400 ft per second relatively accurate a cocking mechanism and you're not aware of it you have to hold it really tight in one hand and hold that yeah pistol grip and cock it all the way in until you hear a click if you don't it'll swing back on you and catch your finger
Another restored 👍 Thanks for the info.
hello sir , the S stands voor scoped . you have nice air guns
nice pair of pellguns! I recently added a second version 167 to my collection.
Thank you for taking a look & the positive remark! 🙂
Nice pistol. I prefer the older spring-piston Diana air pistols with iron sights. For the scoped model a laser or red dot could be used instead. These classic spring piston air guns will provide many years of service if maintained properly and are repairable.
Wow
Thanks for taking a look and the positive reply! 👍
One sweet lookin' shooter!😜👉
Can you recommend a reputable place i can source a pump sheridan pistol? Thanks
I have purchased guns from several auction sites (eBa__ and Gunbroke___ come to mind) and locally from a few antique stores, you have to make your own determination on whether the seller is reputable or not or described the gun correctly. Some of the sellers didn't describe the weapon correctly, either they didn't know, or are going off on other sales etc. Some know their stuff. Some of my guns have fallen into my lap over my time in the hobby. Some I wanted, some I researched before looking for them. If you don't already have it, I would suggest looking for the "Blue Book of Airguns" (maybe your local library has some info?). It's helped me out many many times, really to many to count. There are also publications/books that are Sheridan specific as well. I would guess that you already know which pistol your leaning towards, but seals (new/replaced or old/org.), finish, overall condition, cost, & maybe scarcity might be a consideration for you as well. Good luck in finding of the Sheridan you are looking for. 🙂
Is it pellet or bb
Thanks for looking. It uses a pellet . 🙂
That is beautiful!
Thank you for taking the time to look, and the positive comment. 🙂
What is the patent number?
PAT. NO. 3.000.371
Will be a 300$ plus airpistol here
Niceeeeeeee😍 great find
Thank you for taking a look at the video and leaving a comment(s)! 🙂
Nice gun , u have one the same , was shooting last month
This was obviously Daisy's answer to the Crosman 38T & C series revolvers. It was a less than a flattering copy, and the market never really paid much attention to it.
Thank you for the interest and taking the time to reply. 👍
I believe I called this co2 pistol a "firearm" in this video. It is not a firearm as it uses co2 propel the pellet. Sorry for any confusion. I guess I'm used to anything sending a projectile down range I call it a firearm. 🍻
👍💯⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🍻
Thank you for taking the time to watch & comment! Much appreciated. 😊
I should mention that there is a new "caretaker" for this rifle in April of this year (2024). I'm thankful to have been a part of its life! 🙂
Niceeee
I believe the Benjamin w/ Racine marking is considered the best made of all Benjamin's,per a air per a air riflesmith!
Just found mine .....s# Q008941 needs a new trigger
Glad you found it! First step to getting it out working once more. 🙂
Beautiful and yes i subscribed 👍😉
🙂👍
I just picked up a 99 at a flea market in Arkansas. Not nickle plated. Painted blue black in very rough condition. Muzzle end was bent to the left with a huge dent. Since it was so rough I plan to attempt to blue it. I have a gun shop and blue almost every Saturday although it's usually actual firearms, I am curious to see how the sheet metal will blue.
Nice find. I've used Cold Blue with good success in the past. 🙂
Welcome back! Truly love your videos! Hope you are well and recover 100%
Thank you for the support!
Do you want to sell your Walther LP-53 pistol ?
Thank you for looking at this Walther & the offer. I'm going to hold onto it right now. I just picked up a LP-2 with a case. I also picked up an LP3 in the Walther box and another LP2 in the box as well. I might have an addiction. 🙄
I have one of these, not as nice as yours. Great video.
Thanks for watching & positive comment. They are fun pistols. 🙂
Very nice collection! I wish I had one of the chrome versions but I don't. But I do have an original Torrance model in perfect condition with the box and instructions, as well as a much later 1988 Huntington model also with box and instructions. They both shoot great and I use the Huntington model all the time for dart shooting and BB shooting. I really enjoy both models and I've had them for many years now. I also have a 1977 Model 740 Marksman "break action" BB rifle, bought it new old stock still sealed in the box, but I have opened it up, assembled it, and shot it quite a bit. Unfortunately it's a very poorly made piece of extremely low quality and therefore does not function very well, but it does work (sort of). But it's rare so I will hang on to it. It did come with an owner's manual, an assembly sheet (poorly written and drawn), an a small unopened package of BB's and Pellets. Clearly the 740 model was not well thought out in it's design, functionality, or manufacturing quality control.
Thank you Trevor for taking the time to look at the video and write you're info. It's very appreciated! I hope you add to you're collection one day with a chrome model. 🙂
I have my grandfather's model C, thumb safety, crescent cut stock, oil port on the right side of the bolt boss, narrow trigger guard, straight bolt handle, not nickel plated. It doesn't say BLUE STREAK, but Sheridan products Racine Wis. Made in USA. I think he bought it in 1958. Can you give me any varification?
Tom..... Thanks for taking a look at the video & the question. The crescent cut stock replaced the straight stock in 1955. "Blue Streak" wasn't embossed onto the rifle until 1960. Go into Google and type "Sheridan dates of manufacture" and select the Wikipedia page. This should narrow the year of manufacture for you. It sounds like a late 50's rifle. Very nice. 🙂
I have a late production 79g ( probably '78 ) that was purchased by the original owner in 1982 according to the sales receipt that came with it. They did a 77A pneumatic rifle, and a co2 bb rifle that I think was the 77G ? I'm not positive on the model for the co2 rifle.
Thanks for taking look at the vid. I have the Blue Book of Airguns and lists a Crosman Model 70 & Model 73 rifle. Maybe that's what your thinking of?
the pneumatic rifle is the 77A, the S&W co2 rifle I was thinking of is the model 80G.
My bad! I went to Crosman and I should have gone to the Smith & Wesson section. Sheeesh. You are correct, 77A is the pump version that was made between 1971 & 1978. And the co2 version is model 80G was produced 1972 to 1980.
Very nice keeper for sure.
Thank you for the positive comment and taking the time to leave it. It is a keeper, you are correct 🙂
friend, where could you get that break bomb for that gun?
I don't know what a "break bomb" is, so I can't give you an answer to your question. At least it's not coming to mind.
@@79HurstOldsGuy ok I understand, but I just wanted to know if they had that part at the moment and what its cost was because I have this same model of gun but the filling valve broke down and I wanted to know if they had it or manufactured it
Well, I get a lot of my parts from JG Airguns. Maybe that might help?
I had an MP as a kid and shot thousands of pellets and BBs from it. Wish I still had it or could kind find one. Nice collection!
James..... Thanks for leaving a positive comment and taking the time do so. They are fun little pistols.
I have one just like the one on the left but it is made in New York.
John Easley... They are a good rifle! Thank you for taking the time and sharing.
Donde comprarla
You could try eBay, or Gunbroker.com or local area shops. But you have wait for you want and have the cash to buy it.
Value?
Well, a non-functioning Tracker sold for $152 ish dollars with $63 ish shipping. So that's about $215 bucks. Thow in tax if your in that kind of state and cost of a seal kit plus shipping it. They were made in 1984 only and only a brief time. MSRP was around $300 for regular Tracker so price will be condition sensitive.
How does it do on some small game hunting? Squirrels, Pigeons etc
Wouldn't have an answer for ya as I have never used any of my guns for small game. 😕
@@79HurstOldsGuy k
I have the second model. Its one of my favorites, alongside my Blue Streak. It was the Air Force that bought a bunch in the 1960s. They used them for urban-based personell who were unlikely to use a firearm and had limited, or no range access. They used the 160s to meet their small arms training and qual requirements.
Cody..... Thanks for sharing. 😁
This is t2bkk and I love airguns. I live in Bangkok and I am Japanese. Please be good friends connected. Already subscribed yours.
My grandfather had put a side mounted JC Higgins scope on it which didn't survive the moist environment of the shed because it was steel. When I restored it i filled the 4 holes in the stock with 1/8" brass rod. I have that little red handbook as well. Thank you very much for sharing your research.
Thank you for clarifying what the model B is. Mine isn't stamped BLUE STREAK but now I know it is a model C.
Thanks for taking a look Tom!
I think mine might be a model B.
I would like to know the date of manufacture of the Sheridan I inherited from my grandfather. He had it in the early 60s. He may have bought it in 1958 but I don't know how to accurately date it. Black finsh, straight bolt,45° seat, no O-ring, thumb safety.curved butt, slim fore end.
I’m wondering what I have as I can’t find anything on it I have a old 392p nickel in a 22cal And the serial # starts with i and it’s stamped Benjamin air rifle co Racine WI and help would be great
Never seen these rifles before until someone showed me a rifle that has all the same internal components and in the same configuration as a Benjamin pump action air rifle, but it has a 12 shot rotational magazine with a spring locking mechanism to locate the next pellet. Is this rifle a Benjamin rifle or another similar type ? , anyway these certainly are lovely looking rifles
Thank you. Ive had a medical setback so I'll be taking .brief hiatus from making videos. Thanks again for looking.
It sounds like a chinese B-45 model.
@@79HurstOldsGuyI hope you are feeling better.
Thank you!
Those first guns cost more than a weeks pay. No wonder they didnt sell many.
Is it for sale?
Super nice rifle congrats. Unbelievable that the box is in good shape? I have two Benjamin/ Sheridan C9 20 caliber rifles both nickel finish , also two Benjamin 342 's . Store them with two pumps . My C9's have a butt plate with a white spacer . Growing up my friend had a Blue Streak , man it had so much power . Most of the time I would help him pump it , great memories .
Wonderful where i can buy the gun like that?
Tigger is awesome
Got a new one ,Hw45 bronze, brilliant air pistol 😊
