I was searching for rainy day hairstyles for long hair & decided this video may fit the bill. I don't like to invest a lot of time styling my hair only to have it go flat & frizzy on a humid, rainy day. Even though that's not the purpose of your video, it works!! Thank you
A good detangling brush is SO underrated. 😁 Thanks for these hairstyles. I so rarely heat style my hair, so these will work well for my very long hair after washing. 😁 They're going to make pretty waves when taken out/down, too. Lazy hairstyling at its best. 😁❤️

@@LaineyMarieBeauty Happy hour is when drinks are at a reduced price for a period of time at pubs/hotels, in Australia, I'm thinking maybe the same in the U.S. Great idea though when you take out the hairstyles you have nice waves or curls when hair dries and go out after work. Hi Lainey: I just tried my first Tangle Teezer and it worked like miracle on my very straight, very tangling, very long hair!! Thank you so much Lainey for this vid! Wouldn't have gotten the brush if it wasn't because you were so descriptive with your hairtype so I have more confidence that it will work for me too. My mind is blown: I lost so few hair on my wet hair and zero ouchy. I've never been able to brush through wet hair with a normal brush unless my hair is conditioned AND in the shower with running water. I rarely blow dry my hair so now with the brush I can do these fun and easy hairstyles in the vid with ease. Im getting a couple more brushes for myself and maybe even get some as gifts. Life changing. Btw loved the little blooper lol. Thank you!

This videos was perfectly timed 😊because I had just washed my hair and was about to make my usually braids. Instead I tried the side braid. I’ll have to practice on it as it didn’t come out half as pretty as yours 😍

Hello Lainey I would like to see easy hairstyles with bangs. I know you have long bangs I keep mine short because my hair is thinning in the front. I use claw clips a lot. My hair is super strait and layered. Any suggestions would be great thank you. I love all your tutorials 🥰
I tried the "Pull through" braid and it looks amazing! I try to find hairstyles that i can acually do on myself but i usually cant rlly do them so im SO glad that i found this video! Usually i just put my hair in a low ponytail after showers bc my hair is thick and difficult to put in a high ponytail (my usually style) so i just wanted to see if i could do a little different style today! 😀😃😄😁

Do you use leave in conditioner? It has become a staple in my haircare routine, after dealing with fine and easily tangled hair like yours since I was little. Just apply it in generous amounts, leaving out the scalp of course, and brush it out with your brush. The ones you have are definitely good for that. Make sure you rinse it under water after though.

These are all awesome hairstyles. Your creativity is out of this world, where you wouldn't see anywhere else. But I do have faves and I like number 2 and 3. Number 3 would also look nice as a side rope braid no bun and the last one would go for dry hair too or as low piggies. I would love to see the beautiful waves when the hair dries, the results, wow. I love your videos! You give great directions! My hair may not behave (too thick and coarse with a mind of it's own), but I have been able to try quite a few of your styles.

I personally don't like styling my hair wet, because I heard it's damaging to your hair. I usually just put it in a very loose braid or just claw clip side sections :)

I have thick hair so I wash it after work and let it air dry. If I wash and braid it in the morning I find by the evening my scalp itches and my hair smells musty :/ maybe it's fine for thinner hair though.

I love tbe idea a wet hairstyle because i usually do 2 dutch braids so thaty hair is curly later, but its nics to have other options.

It’s a 10, Amika, or unite are my fav detanglers that detangle and provide hydration. I haven’t found a drugstore one that I’m in love with yet. ❤️ I find that oils helps with my tangles too! Unfortunately, finer hair tends to tangle easily

I too suffer from tangles & matted hair. I also use Its a 10 spray detangler along with Moroccan Oil that I buy from my stylist. I use a wide tooth comb, wetbrush & start from ends & work my way up. Some shirts & hoodies mat my hair up at the nape of my neck in seconds. Oil is the biggest help for me. And patience! 🤣

I recently bought a detangling brush but I don't understand how it's any different than my paddle brush. Those plastic combs in the brush sound like they are ripping out your hair.
It has patented two tier teeth technology. Idk how it works so well but it does! I promise it wasn’t ripping out my hair 😂❤️

Same here! I go for my 1 month check up on Tuesday. At my 2 week appointment, doc told me it was normal. Said it could take up to a months for vision to stabilize but didn’t have any concerns. Definitely frustrating having one super crisp, clear eye and then a fuzzy eye!!

GIrls in this part of the world cant think of combing or tying their hair before drying. I haven't seen a single women advocating that here. We keep the hair open until it is dry. Then we go for styling.
