You ever thought about opening a SCS, I would love to find a group of healthcare worker that's interested in starting the first SCS ( safe consumption site) in the US. Great approach to harm reduction
Well in the ER sometimes it’s just hard due to the homelessness and ongoing mental health it can be very overwhelming so it can make bad attitudes sometimes!! It’s sad! I always try to educate them! I know it’s busy but that could be your Dad or Brother etc and that usually starts to change their attitude a little!!!
Hey I've been watching you guys for quite some time now from the UK. I've had a traumatic weekend, lost my grandmother and my dog died 2 hours apart, ironically looks identical to Parhams lovely looking dog. Our dog Peppi was a Lhasa Apso he lived to 15 years old, he had dementia and refused food, I done the best for him, gave him quality CBD for his pain, I found out on a forum that potassium helped somebody elses dog with fits, and within 4 days Peppis fits stopped I just wish I found that info out earlier so maybe I could have prevented further brain damage. I'm a methadone patient for 11/12 I tend to forget these days 70mg I was on but now I've had to take more to try to reduce this incessant craving to go back to the smack. I would love to come on one your next live stream I have a ton we can talk about, UK opioid/drug news etc. Also I can tell you what the UK's recover systems like these days if you aren't informed. Thanks guys!
@@DrBAddictionRecovery Means heck of a lot Dr. B! You and Parham are the very few genuine ones left that I can seem read pretty well. There's so much prejudice and inequality here in the UK with regards to mental wellbeing organisations that since covid don't really engage with us addicts and it's NO surprise that suicides are on the rise, relapse is on the rise and budget cuts for necessities are also on the rise. Very tough times were all having to endure. But I'm trying to stay strong and keep fighting the good fight even when I want to throw this dirty towel in. I can't wait for the next stream, this stuff is SO important for so many people! Thanks for all you and Parhama do, it's very humbling and compassionate! :)
@@DrBAddictionRecovery that would be great to talk to you about the different avenues of addiction and how connection turns into the manifestation of this epidemic
It’s trauma, never ending stress, its very hard to stay positive sometimes!
