- This roll doesn't belong to me, it is merely in my possession until it can be sent to its new home. A friend of mine purchased a lot of rolls online, and I picked them up for him. This is one of his favorite songs, and to show him the condition of this roll, I recorded a video and posted it for him to see as well as all of you. I have over 500 videos now, and this is the first video i will post of Baby Face. I'm very honored that things happened the way they did, so his Baby Face roll had the chance to be the first one I posted on my channel. I have my share of copies of this song but I don't hold a candle to my friend.
If my count is correct, this will put him at 16 different copies of Baby Face. Well done my friend! This isn't the best copy out there but I know he could care less. I hope you enjoy it as much as I know he does. Thanks for watching.

What an absolute piece of Americana treasure you have there! September 1926.... right when player pianos were at their peak and this song was number one hit across the country! It's no wonder your friend has been able to round up a collection with 16 different copies. I have a few copies of this roll myself. I'm assuming he hasn't been able to do that on his own without the help of good people like you! It all reminds me of some of your extremely impressive collections in your playlists. I'm Looking Over A Four Leaf Clover and Zez Confrey rolls comes to mind immediately. You've been able to post over 500 rolls without being concerned for the common rolls due to the fact your collection is unbelievably one of the best. Rare and hard to find... you have them!
I don't think you need to worry at all regarding the condition of this roll. Wherever it ends up, it'll be treasured for sure!!
Hopefully there were some other good rolls in that lot as well.
