Amazing to see this - stumbled across him by accident on UA-cam and was surprised to see that although he was more known for Streets of London, he has actually made his own mark with a number of tunes…😃
A great artist. At first I misunderstood the audience for disinterest but it's a foreign broadcast? Honestly it's so distracting to see everyone around Ralph look like they'd rather be anywhere else.
Hits à Gogo was a coproduction between the swiss and german Television. So the audience is probably swiss and german. Pretty normal behaviour back then.
I have been listening to "Old Brown Dog" for almost 50 years, and I still cry when I hear it. I am 67, and I don't give a hoot who knows.
Wonderful. First saw Ralph in 1978 then 84..and 86...and 92. One of my fav artists X
Thanks for posting this...Great to see Ralph in his earlier days..... Brilliant as usual ...and still going strong at 76 !!
