throws are really demoralizing too, in addition to being tiring. the fact that you're on your back and your opponent is up and walking around just makes you feel powerless
Also the fact that if its a real fight throws would likely end it. Getting thrown on hard surfaces may knockout ans in real fight they would kick grounded opponent not let him back up.
I think Sanda guy may have benefited from some push kicks down the middle. The forward pressure was killing him and it may have helped him fatigue the other guy a bit
The sanda guy lacks combos and was easily taken in by the leg feints repeatedly (might be tired), but his infighting was very good for a sanda guy. The MT guy was good at throwing strikes at differ levels. Honestly, it was a good match, good find!

No surprise here, but damn those elbows from muay thai guy were brutal. The sanda guy landed a handfull of good ones too, but damn the spinning elbow and the finishing one from muay thai dude were bestial.
It's a muay thai scoring thing, if you get hit clean but show that it didn't rattle you or disrupt your base it's scored less highly than getting visibly shaken up
Sanda guy's defence was poor. His boxing and blocking/evading was bad. He could catch so many kicks and knees to throw his opponent But it looked like he was scared/intimidated to do anything. I had the same problem a few years ago as a beginner But this was kinda meh. But still he put up a fight which is honorable and arguably it showed heart. I liked this match and learned a lot from it. Attacking is a must in striking no matter what the sport
When you called sands guy and Muay Thai guy fight I thought that Sanda guy is going to win. Because Sanda would have to be better than Muay Thai, hahaha. It's Chinese mentality.

bro just charges in with no devastating combos, sanda guy was decent
Sanda without throws is rough.
Exactly. They should be allowed to throw
Sanda is a wrestling style
@@solomoncyress934 not really it’s striking and wrestling
@@solomoncyress934 That’s Shuai Jiao
Actually most of Sanda is stricking but with Wrestling too
All that holding knowing you cannot be thrown. It is not Sanda vs Mhuay Thai. It is a Sanda guy fights in a Mhuay Thai match.
They're both muay thai fighters . He has those ropes/threads on his shoulders that muay thai fighters wear ( The guy wearing black shorts )
THE SANDA GUY USED THE BIG ROUND HOUSE PUNCH TO SET UP THE SPINNING ELBOW. IT WASN'T A SPINNING BACK FIST.
Love your all caps. What’s the deal with that?

Why do Muay Thai boxers always acknowledge the strike and _shake it off_ the same way every time?
Very intimidating to say the least.

It looked like a spinning elbow then a spinning back fist from Sanda guy.
Overall cool fight 😊.
