Rule 24.0 last sentence, "A unit set up on the battlefield in a phase other than the deployment phase cannot use MOVE abilities in the movement phase of the same turn."
ABILITIES? So, is moving itself an ability? Or would they be referring to things like 'auto run 6' command ability, perhaps?
@@Champion_Eternalmove is an ability. Literally everything in the game is considered an ability.
@@Champion_Eternalget used to everything being an ability. This is what makes it so much easier. Everything is an ability. Just repeat that to yourself over and over lol. Everything is an ability.
Oh believe me I was disappointed once I found the answer! Should have went with the gut...the gut doesn't lie.
The only time you can move after deepstrike is with the Lord Imperatant’s special rule. There may be other rules that do this but Lord Important is the only one I know of
I really appreciate when folks take ownership of messing up rules. Happens to the best of us, good sportsmanship!
Concerning Banishing, it DOES cost a spellcast. Unbinds dont. So you couldnt have cast spectral lure and then unbound the mortalis with only a single level 1 wizard
Yeah! We realised this in the 2nd game hahaha
@@lukapavicevic335 As an aside, I appreciate you putting a NH game up first.
2:04:37 You can spend rally points to either heal or restore a model, in any order! You could have spent four to restore two models. You don't have to heal all damage before restoring models.
Not sure when this was recorded, but the kickstarter seems to be dead? Shame, the markers was nice.
Have to be more mindful with coherency now. There were a few times where the nighthaunt player removed casualties and his unit was not coherent, which in the new rules means he immediately has to remove models to get back into coherency. Coherency is so strict now that if you pull a casualty and are no longer coherent, you have to remove models until you are a coherent unit AND THEN you allocate the rest of the damage.
And they keep track on who takes the wound instead of adding it to the unit. I guess its just a matter of getting used to it.
Such quaility of life (to be honest is what I did must of 3rd) 😅
Looking fun! - Maybe more of your crew might be enticed to join the Sigmar-war? xD Spearhead tournament?
Night haunts seem to have a ton of attacks, and with those buffs... Unstoppable
Maybe.
Edit: turn 2, i rescind my statement
Wounds remaining is so much better than wounds taken.
I really hope they add in more tactics at some point. The edition isn't out yet and I"m already sick of seeing everybody forced to deploy super aggressive in order to have a shot at turn 1 tactics.
Do they sell round movement trays like that? I’m starting nighthaunt and haven’t played AoS yet so making sure I have everything haha.
i think its the movement trays from like the redo of apocalypse
I am looking for the website for the terrain that is used in this game. Please let me know what it is. Thanks!
New to NH, I’ve got the opportunity to purchase some units of Dreadscythe Harridans. Wanted to ask, if I should and how many units?
I can't find the page that would let me buy stl for this amazing terrain.
Whats the wording on the hosts ability to give a ward? Could they give Negash a ward since he'd get the Nighthaunt keyword?
Regarding the NH countercharge debuff, is there a designers note in the Index that clearly says you can apply it? Its been a cause for a lot of debate recently in NH circles
Nighthaunt's army ability clearly states "Your charge phase". So it doesn't work with Counter-Charge
@@DerMitWieWoOhneNamen thats been the general assessment, but we dont have the index. I was curious if there was a note clarifying application like how wave of terror got a note about stacking rend last edition.
@@jonathanfredrickson4597We will have an FAQ and errata at launch. But ya aura of dread abilities only work on your charge phase and it's only for the turn.
Awesome, AoS!
IT IS ABOUT TIME!
Wheres the link to get the terrain shown in the video???
When did the new general's handbook and matched play stuff drop?
its all in the launch box
Next week i think?
Omg, those trees are cool, please say they are able to be shipped to Australia and don't cost the world to get?
Shipping to Australia is available, though the world part....not too sure 😅
😂. No worries, understand your a business, just hoping I can finally get some. Great work on the vids as usual guys.
35:20 can't move after deploying in the same turn?
Correct. Core rules. 24.0 Set up units.
Units set up in a phase outside of the deployment phase cannot use move abilities in the movement phase of the same turn.
Yeah, he goes over the mistakes they made at around 10:30 minutes in
Hi Guys, do u have the pdf battletomes from all factions yet?
Can u do a Battlereport with the new S2D and with abraxia in it?😅
Would Love to know, If shes good in 4th Edition...
So fun!
Can the Lord-Imperatant still allow a unit to deep strike outside of 7" rather than 9"?
Apparently yes, but only once per game. But, also up to 3 units
Manifestations are still tied to the caster. If the caster dies, the manifestation is removed.
Good to know!
Close game (despite the cheating :P ) But really well flowing and edited, not a lot of downtime during your batreps which makes them great. Amazing generalship for the first batrep though!
Would be a bit more interesting if there were some more interesting SCE units used, it is mostly just basic troops, not very exciting to see the most bland units on mass, maybe some dragons or some more sauce would be good.
anyone know where i can get the cool movement trays they're using? really like the plastic smooth look and that it carrys 5.
I believe they're using the movement trays that Games Workshop made for the most recent version of their 40k Apocalypse game. They're out of print, but you might still be able to find them online or in local stores. I believe there were versions available for 25mm, 32mm, and 40mm bases.
Are you guys using the 3rd eidtion warscrolls for the units?
Are wounds counting up now it feels so wrong
Why? You add up damage. Your wounds characteristic never changes. 'Counting down wounds' never made sense.
very nice to see new aos !! looking forward to slaves and archeon
Aura of Dread does NOT trigger off a counter-charge.
One less life.... One more ghost...👻
Great Report!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it, much more to come!!! This Edition is rather fun.
pec pec means a different thing in Filipino. take a second to look it up. it'll be funny @1:09:30
I believe you must declare forward to victory before you roll the charge in this edition
False. It's a reaction after you roll a charge
@@justincsloan Nope, the timing is "Reaction: You declared a charge ability".
It's also the intention that you get the ability to reroll. Not that you can see if you need the reroll in the first place as was done in 3rd edition.
@@DerMitWieWoOhneNamen Now read the Charge ability. Rolling the dice is part of the Declare step, and then after rolling you make the decision whether or not to use the Forward to Victory reaction.
@DerMitWieWoOhneNamen you're wrong. you have to resolve the charge ability first and then forward to victory
@@toferkrz946
finaly
To be fair leuka missplays in like every batrep he's in
Stormcast player cheated so much lol classic MWG
Some of the worst rolling I’ve seen 😂
Cheated is a strong word! That implies intent! This is definitely more ignorance 🙃
It's a new edition, it always takes some time getting used to new rules. Can't expect to get everything right the first time.
It is very frustrating when people who's job is to play these games don't understand how they work.
