    Historically, large farms dident really happen. What Strat is saying is correct. Historically, in the manor system there were long thin plots to farm. But there was a lot of them to compromise. This was because typically there was a family to 1 or 2 plots. So 6 familes means 6 to 12 plots of farming. It also is quicker this wasy. The larger plots became more of a norm with massive workforces and the development of the ag rev.

    Another feature I would like to see is a one time purchase order. Order up 32 war bows and not worry about more trickling in.

      just order the bows as normal and when you see ir reaches the limit change the trade to “no trade” but ig thats the current solution this game still has a LOT to develop

    GG u prepered well before lvl.2, how ever i think u should try get the manor before farming and everything els and try go take out a bandit camp or 2 with ur peopel might cost a few peopel, after that get more fighters in the retinue and use them everytime u see a bandit camp, so u never need to use ur peopel and kill ur economy, i think im gonner try stay longer at lvl 1 spam.vegies and goats and appels , but that just me , i have to test it, if they nerf the trader

    Hey Kitty Cat
    Something which is bugging me about this game is that you're unable to see how much food/goods have been produced by each building in the past 12 months for example.
    That's a great help on FF as you know how productive your forester has been for example.
    I see you're trying to grow malt barley, turn to malt, and then sell as ale.
    But you can't see how much malt has actually been produced for example, or how much stock of ale there is.
    How many pints of ale does one harvest of 30 barley equate to for example?
    Seems hard to measure and a lot of guesswork

      Shit out of luck here - keep getting that error when I try to start the game up!
      Gutted as I've been watching you every day and so excited to play the game 😢

      @@TacticatGaming Sadly it's the 0000000000000000x18c UE4 CRASH. Open the game in Steam, it launches and gets to the initial setup screen before closing and returning to desktop. There is a workaround:
      go to :
      ->AppData\Local\ManorLords\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
      ->Open Settings.ini
      -> Change "ML.aaMode=fsr" into "ML.aaMode=" (delete fsr)
      ->run the game
      ... However this is only possible if you have managed to load the game previously and make a save file.
      You can also try to amend the compatability settings and run for Windows 7 which has helped some people, but does nothing for me.
      I've been watching your videos with my 6 and 8 year old boys. They're insisting that FF is better and they don't want me to play Manor Lords, so maybe they have secretly cursed me, haha. Was hoping to put some hours in this weekend and win them over with an amazing build.
      I thought the comment on your video promoting the idea of getting the Manor built before focusing on farming was quite smart, so that you can get a retunue and start bashing some bandits.
      Farming seems tough, especially as the harvests seem difficult to measure/quantify, as well as how much ale is produced from the malt. Perhaps even smaller, square farm plots half the size of standard burbage plot would be good to test early game, to just ensure that a few farmers can efficiently work the farm and not be overwhelmed by the size of the field.

    I think i found something strange about Logging camp and woodcutter. I did it in 3 different starts; maybe its a huge coincidence but here it goes.
    As i hate dedicating workers to woodcutter i seperated them. For ex woodcutter on the left, Logging camp on the right of the village.. Somehow it changed their performance immensely in my scenario. I dont know why or how it happened.

    • @vorlof
      @vorlof 26 днів тому

      from what i've seen, woodcutter cuts down it's own trees. You can assign it a work area just like you can assign a work area to the logging camp. perhaps the woodcutter can also steal fallen trees from the logging camp?

    • @ivirbidi
      @ivirbidi 26 днів тому

      @@vorlof even if i assign them different places in my case they worked far more faster if they are seperate somehow. I should have inspected what they were doing but i was blinded to build things faster :D

    And i think u can tax them earlyer like 5-6-7-10% if u keep up the aprovel 70+%, until u cant while u stay on lvl 1
