Glad I came across this . I’ve been doing Great at startups getting approval to 100 with 90-100 people , but then I get raided by an army and they torch my entire village . The messes 30 bow, 5 retinue, and 20 spears are be we enough for the their 4 groups of 18+.
So you’re saying in the beginning phases of the game to buy meecinaries to ward off attacks why city’s growing and eating enough $$ via trade to build militia slowly ?

You're welcome, the game is changing a bit because it's in early access
The bandits aren’t realistic at all. They are constantly raiding your town with more troops than your tiny army you have time to build. They need to turn off raids but keep the other lords for you to fight.
