Looking to get started on the Sorcery Play Network? Head on over to play.sorcerytcg.com/ and start hosting at your LGS!
Signed up for my first store event through the Play Network! I was looking for a place to learn/play Sorcery and I'm happy this Play Network is a thing now. Great job team! Looking forward to Arthurian Legends.
Glad to hear it!
@@SorceryTCG As a follow up - I had a great time. Met a few great gamers and learned a bunch. The only bummer was they had no product to sell. =( It would have been really nice to walk in, play my pre-cons and then buy a bunch of packs while I'm still on the hype train.
Great overview, gents!
Thank you for the concise video! I hope it encourages more stores to take the plunge into the void and start building up the realm.
Glad you enjoyed!
Wish we could run sealed or drafts. No new products also means no new players as we cant even get starter decks.
Hi Sorcery Team.First of all:Thx for this amazing new TCG, Love it^^.But here´s the question...Does Sorcery comes to Cardmarket, or did we see more TCG-Stuff in Germany, in the nearer Future? There are not so much possibilities to get same Boosters and other Stuff, and it would be very nice to see more from our favorite MTG-Killer^^Thanks a lot and greetings from RLP-Germany
I heard the Sorcery Team reached out to Cardmarket but didn't get a reply? I think at this point it's up to the community to let Cardmarket know there is genuine interest
Take a Look at tcg-player...
There is nearly everythin Marken as "Sold out"...
I thonk the sorceryteam habe to print more cards, for selling...
How does it work for online events? I saw a button for this option. Same opportunities and Dust-Rewards for events?
Only 2 stores in my area won't allow me to host. (Small venues that are almost always overbooked for MTG) Glad I have a good Sorcery community in Arizona when I visit. Gamers Guild AZ has been awesome with their Sorcery community.
Wish I lived near Gamers Guild. In Tucson, and no one near me runs Sorcery. I play with a few guys locally, but been really hard to spread since I'm the only person providing decks and product.
@@Monkey_D._Elliott I live in Utah, so there is only one store that actually sold any product and they only had a very few boxes. They don’t host any events and those that picked up any boxes don’t seem to be hosting anything.
I have in-laws in Phoenix that I visit pretty regularly throughout the year though. Gamer’s Guild has really popped off with Sorcery. There’s a healthy amount of players there and they are really an awesome group. I’d recommend following their event lists for Sorcery on their website and taking a trip down there. They’d love to have you, even if it was infrequent.
Any thoughts to allow events outside of LGS to use the Play Network. I know abuse is a concern but I know a lot of people that play outside of an LGS and would like an organizer like the site and to be able to earn dust. Maybe limiting a non-LGS to a certain amount of events a month or a year?
Print product!
Hi I set up & run the UK sorcery discord, We have been talking about running pre con deck tournaments and I think it would be great if we can get this type of tournament on the play network so that the participants can also get dust rewards. Or would this still format fall into sealed tournament category? We think this is a potentially a really good way for stores to get new players into the game due to the limited amounts of beta available. I generally agree with the community that the pre con decks should be made as available as possible until and possibly even after AL
Sounds like „Lern to Play“ or „Casual“ to me. But I understand, that it’s more competitive.
@@Ilphikur I can see why this would be what it would fall into, but we particularly want to run it as a Tournament. I can also see it being sealed as well if that makes sense
The only problem with this is, and the biggest problem with this game, is there is no product to sell, so no stores have any incentive to run these. My FLGSs are frustrated with the no reprint nonsense. It has decimated the local communities. I'm so sad because I love this game but this is a unsustainable business model.
It would be mitigated a bit by having sets a more often then once a year. I guess they want to do one big one small in rotation every 6ish months going forward from AL.
Wanted to try out sorcery but there are no product available. So instead of watching this video, I’m just here to complain about it, sorry 😅
