For some reason Apu saying "my ears are filled with nougat" is the funniest thing I've heard in a while.
"Pathetic single men" even apu makes fun of me
Reporter: "Is it true that you arent really Indian?"
Hank: "By the many arms of Vishnu I swear it is a lie"
Well, they didn't ask if he was a Hindu so...
“Billy and the Cloneasaurus” is Apu’s best
We may never see Apu again but he will never be forgotten.
You do know that the report was fake and that they aren't getting rid of him, though they are finding a new actor. Matt even said there are some plans for him.
@@disneyboy3030 Without Hank, it wouldn't be the same.
@@kennethwayne6857 I'm sure the new one will do fine. Some of the others have.
@Private Joker actually the idea of him being cut is actually not ture. Granted while he is currently a background character dientobthe actor leaving, Matt does have plans for him.
r.i.p. Apu, you were too pure for this world...
So apu is saying a bag of chips is the cheapest thing he has. How much is a lollipop or a chocolate bar then 🤣🤣
35 social justice warriors found this offensive.
0:35-0:41 this has to be the highlight of Apu's character, it's strangely heartwarming and funny all around.
I really wish Hank didn't quit. He did such an awesome job as Apu. He was my introduction to India, and I loved his catchphrase, "Thank you. Come again." Anyone who works at a store should say that.
He caved in and agreed with that documentary like a wuss - coz its popular to be PC.
I'm thinking it was Fox that made him retire.
@@ryanhoward3383 I'll kick their asses.
Apu was such a great character, it’s upsetting he got canceled
I miss Apu. He had so many great moments, and was one of the few characters in the show who affected the status quo as he grew from a bachelor to a family man whilst still being a workoholic. I guess you could argue he was a negative stereotype, but since he's from a show built up on stereotypes there's no point of removing him. He was a popular and likeable character too.
I love the nicely cut “There’s a nut in my eye-“ 😂
I bet you the people who thought that Apu was an offensive stereotype probably never watched the show.
2:17 I died at this part lmao
I work with a young man whose family won an immigration lottery in Pakistan and immigrated to the US when he was nine years old. His work ethic is amazing. Has a young family and how can I say this: The man has his shit together.
Apu was a funny and good character. There was nothing to be offended about. It was a satirical character on a famously satirical show.
It sucks we're not gonna see him again because some people on Twitter couldn't handle The Simpsons not immediately buckling to them
There's nothing wrong with this character. Every character on the entire show exists to be entertaining.
It’s a crime they erased him
3:28 you left out the best part.
Homer, whisper-yelling: "$5.99! What a rip-off! Someone should shoot you!"
Apu's pilgrimage to the Quickie Mart guru was golden.
And how Homer ruined it for him too 😂
As someone who’s half-Indian by blood, Apu was always and will always be my favorite character from the Simpson’s. There’s nothing even remotely racist about him, stereotypes are FUNNY, not racist!
I'm an Indian immigrant and Apu is my favorite character ❤
Now the Simpsons don't use him anymore, on behalf of all Millennials, I am sorry we have to ruin everything.
Nah, it's just Twitter
It wasn't millennials, you're thinking of gen Z
@@chattingesque372 not even us just some fucking dumbasses on twitter looking for clout
@@macaarrooon my bad
@@aurahero9842 sorry
Apu (& Manjula) will SURELY be missed.
See, I don't even think it was SJWs that caused his removal from the show because surely it wouldn't have taken 30+ years. I think, as usual, it was people from the top stirring the pot.
"People from the top stirring the pot"
So SJWs then. The rank and file Twitterati are just grunts. SJWs thrive up at the top.
Thanks for all these
“You once worked 96hrs straight?”
Me: yeah I’d probably go crazy and start thinking I was something else too 😂
literally everyone i know wants to be apu, the perfect man
Hard-working provider, smart, can defend you with a shot gun, loves America... Apu is Husband Goals.
@@edoboleyn I'll come to America and i'll open a store and will name it "APU'S STORE". I'm from india
I am an Indian and I love Appu, bring back our appu
The shopping line skit was genius 😆
From what I’ve read and even HEARD from my Indian friends, they all loved this character. Seems the only people that didn’t were the pc losers
He's Actually My Favourite Simpsons Character
0:35 I remember I had to rewind this part over and over again to get all the laugh out
Not a single Ad in an eight minute video, awesome, thanks a lot!!!
Too bad YT will still put ads on it, even if it’s not monetized
People who call this a stereotype have never met Indian business owners in UK or USA because they life in a bauble. Even university-alumni usually keep the distinct accent and thats okay. They keep their culture and thats okay. Usually they are hard working, honest business people who are respectful to everyone and care for their families. Thats highly admirable.
Besides a small number of actual south Asians I'm sure most of the cries of racism came from people who weren't Asian at all.
If they ever bring Apu back in the show, Brian George would be the best casting choice as his new voice. Closest similarity to the voice and he has the right heritage. And he has portrayed Indian characters before anyway.
Yes I think Brian would be a decent choice.
I would be fine with a South Asian or Indian playing Apu.
The voice acting doesn't have limits or rules y'know.
@@alexwells8893 No it doesn't. But after 2020's Black Lives Matter stuff, Fox recasted all non-white characters in The Simpsons and Family Guy to have voice actors with ''right ethnicity.'' Like how now Carl Carlson, Lou the Cop and Cleveland Brown now have African-American voice actors.
@@nifinland Yeah, I could carry on about this ridiculous decision but I'd be beating a dead horse right now since those shows fell off their prime years ago.
Apu the 🐐 BRING HIM BACK 💯💯
Anyone who got this beautiful and beloved character, doesn't appreciate comedy, is completely close minded, probably never asked a person of Indian descent, and frankly needs to get a sense of humor and a life for that matter. APU still exists in our minds and hearts.
Missing the scene where he absolutely demolishes Skinner about his novel
3:06 Easily the best moment
LMAO the citizenship test was so funny. I had it recently I almost did the same. The agent told me: "wait to finish to question already before you answer!".
My favorite line, I can't even find.
It's when Apu is filling out a form and says "Other? There are 800 Million of us!"
Apu was a great character. It's a shame the Simpsons writers bowed to pressure from the cancel culture mob of SJWs.
Probably NONE of whom are Indian.
Okay let me say this. They aren't getting rid of him, the actor resigned on his own terms, and they are going to get a new actor.
This is exactly why I'm anti-woke and anti-SJW.

RIP Apu.
My friend from Korea became a citizen got a jury summons and threw it away. I had to tell her she had to go. I thought of Apu. Always made me laugh.
Apu is one of the best. Disgusting the current show runners have removed Apu from existance.
Everyone I know love and respect Apu, I've never met anyone being "racist" about him.
I am Indian, born raised and proud. Bring back apu. We are not snowflakes here in India, then how can we become one abroad? #bringbackapu
I guess they got the wrong character targeted for their protests but I think all this shyte started because kids in American schools would bully Indian kids by mimicking Apu's accent all the time.
Man the Simpsons fucked up canceling Apu. WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!
Banana Bread
They went woke.
@@Butterball3588 woke is the stupidest, laziest way of explaining anything.
A guy by the name of Hari Kondabalu wanted attention.
The Simpson's writers are making a product and the customers complained about something in the product, so that thing was changed. Its the same as if people all of a sudden began complaining about an ingredient in coca cola, you wouldn't expect the recipe to remain the same
0:10 thank you for coming :)
"How I have waited for this day." (pulls out a shotgun)
That kid kills me!
4:17 i like how the doctor open his coat
Imagine cancelling a character because a bunch of privileged, middle-to-high class white kids got offended, even though the people he should actually offend absolutely loved him.
Actually, the guy who made the biggest stink about Apu is Hari Kondabolu who is an Indian-American. He made a whole documentary about how the character Apu is racist, and following that documentary The Simpsons team scrapped Apu. So it wasn’t a “bunch of privileged, middle-to-high class white kids”.
If the SJWs don't like Aputhen they should switch him with a Korean. Pretty much the same traits & would be less offensive if as a stereotype
Or just don’t listen to the SJW. We never should’ve. Just little kids looking for attention
I love Apu. He needs his own standalone series.
I've always liked Apu and never saw him as a racist caricature. I was honestly surprised by the backlash. What makes it even sadder is that Hank Azaria now regrets doing the voice
