We use protective film on the windshield over here to reduce the chipping of the windshield. try it, it works quite well surprisingly. I also did that to the door hinges because started chipping on mine.
We have almost the same exact Jeep. Lol! I’m also the same way about wanting it clean in town but not afraid to get it dirty. It’s just I’m lazy and don’t always clean it right away like I used to. Lol!
I have the same jeep in Sarge green. I get a lot of tiny rocks stuck in between my back fenders also, best thing I found to get them out is a plastic credit card, it's small enough to fit without scratches and it's easy to flick the rocks out
it's absolutely fantastic. the only 2 things are really heartbreaking: those two things are: 1. no 360-cam. and 2. horrible second row seats. especially the back of the seat of the second row absolutely horrible. I mean specifically the recline position of the back of the seat just 6-inches more recline would make those seats absolutely normal for just 15cm would make it totally different story.
Dude WD40 the whole undercarriage. The dirt sticks to that and when washing comes off. makes the whole underneath look like new. plus great for rust prevention and electrical connections. I have a 392 as well and like to get it dirty but also make it look brand new when done wheeling.
Yes you are being very nit picky. You may want to reconsider Jeep ownership. A Subaru may be more your style. That style of Jeep was meant to go off road, get muddy and go over rough terrain. Your UA-cam posting privileges are revoked until you go out mud holing in it 5 times and get it thoroughly coated in gooey mud, not just brown water. Get it stuck in at least 1 mud hole.
The best thing to do with a car truck like this is to buy it and garage it and only drive it on sunny days, never let it see rain or salt, and drive it less than 4000 miles a year. Enjoy
Hey bro glad to see your new jeep. I just took mine off road and i washed it too but i was curious what your take on to maybe keep it looking awesome.. i just wanna keep it rust free as possible.. it's new 2022 9 months ownership
As long as you give it a good wash and focus on the underside as well every time after you get it muddy then that is the best way to keep it rust free for as long as possible while still enjoying it. Thanks for watching!
I have jeep sport s with 3 inch lift kite with 35s on it and in life I have never clean jeep I’m lazy and I often go off road like 3-4 time a week so it useless
for fuck sake...its a jeep...its supposed to be rugged and scratched and dented...that's what its made for...the only thing I have to bitch about is the price. in the early 70's you could pickup a C-J5 for $3500 brand new
I’ve had to change my windshield twice. Finally upgraded to gorilla glass and so far so good
Sweet good to hear that it’s holding up!
I am soon to be a new 392 owner and this video is very helpful. Very thoughtful to have made it, thanks.
Thanks for watching and congrats, you will love it!
Just ordered the 2024 392 can't wait
Sweeet! Is pricing available yet for the 2024s?
@@KCars yes my order is in will have in 1 month to 5
@@iONsOffroad dang that’s quick!
I did too, Anvil. What color did you go with?

Fluid film is the way to go in order to prevent rust on your undercarriage.

Sweet! How do you like it? And for sure, it’s nice to actually use it but I also like nice things to stay nice lol
@@KCars Loving it so far! It's so fun to drive whether I take it off road or to the grocery store.
@@MotoringAdventures_KE7SAI agreed, it’s the best all around vehicle in my opinion

True that’s a good idea!
I use a plastic trim kit that I had. It makes it a lot easier.

True that could’ve have been a good addition for sure! I haven’t spent any time in the second row but I can see how it would be uncomfortable
@@KCars i am shocked that even after so many years we still have that issue. for long trips for rear passengers' travel becomes torture.
@@johnreno8909 hmmm you’d think they would make it a little more comfortable by now

From one 392 owner to another I totally get what you were saying. Nice job I enjoyed your video.
blah blah blah car wash - car wash - car wash, it’s a jeep, it’s meant to get dirty.
It’s meant to get dirty & go off road buy a Prius.
😂😂
This has NOTHING to do with 392! Just a wrangler owner. Windshield, fender, just general cleaning. GIVE ME A BREAK! 392 CLIK BAIT!
It’s still a wrangler 🤷🏼♂️
@@KCarsI think people were expecting issues with the 392 specifically, reasons not to get the HEMI v8 vs the regular v6 or electric.
@@salttrader4113 nah I’m just talking about some things to keep in mind if/when getting a wrangler

Not to many people are going to run a a 90K Jeep through the mud. Maybe a dirt road.

I have side steps on all my Wranglers and no issues with stones getting caught in the arches.

Yup mine gets real dirty but I enjoy getting it clean! My dirty may be much dirtier than yours though lol
Gotta love the trails in CO
I believe it! I’d love to hit some of the trails in CO sometime
I love silver Jeeps, but that blue is NICE!!!
Agreed, thanks!
Great videos. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
..what's the price on a jeep like that?....nice color by the way 😃
Can someone tell me what mall gave him all of those scratches. I would definitely like to keep my mall crawler away from there!!!
😂😂
Very clever joke 😏 How's your 392 doing?
For the seams where the body meets the flairs use rope window rubber gasket and use a plastic spug tool problem solved
Thanks!

Don't you pman to have it wrapped - around ?
Thought about getting it wrapped but ceramic coating is much more cost efficient I think

What's going on with JEEP ENGINEERS ???? DON'T THZY HAVE LAST QUALITY CONTROL CHECKS ?
Im sure they do but this is just what they came up with. Most Jeep owners don’t really care about this stuff to be honest
i think that all 2024 models comes with gorilla glass as standard.
Sweet!
