Great rc trainer. I have crashed and repaired my Areoscout numerous times. I continues to fly. It is my first rc plane and has served me so well. I highly recommend this plane. RL
Nobody likes wind on a day you go out to fly but if it becomes a problem all you gotta do is flip safe on and bring it back to safety. Also is it just me or does it become windy whenever I go out to the field?
This plain is awesome but it needs flaps it doesn't like to land and when it does its doesn't want to stop rolling lol. But I do love this plane I even let my wife fly it with. O flights ever before and she did not wreck it. 😊
I agree, I think I can land it and as the plane, gets closer and closer, it just keeps getting faster and faster. Eventually I have to pull up at the last second, and then do a sharp bank and come around to land it. It gets really annoying! Other then that, this thing is amazing! Handles really well and holds it ground in heavy winds too!
Just acquired the AeroScout from HH and super excited to fly it. I'm guessing you can use an Imax B6 Balance Charger with an adapter for the IC3 connector? I really didn't want to buy another LIPO charger and like the Imax.
I'm a more experienced flyer and want this for my front yard flyer. I want the BNF version since I have a DX8. Does this plane still allow normal Safe-Select binding (2 position switch), or does it come with the 3 mode and require I use a 3 position switch?
is there a way to mount a GoPro Session type camera on this plane? What would happen if a person was to replace the included prop with a slightly larger 3 bladed prop, how would that effect the performance?
Up to 10-20 minutes, but for your first flights, we recommend setting a timer for 5-7 minutes so you have plenty of extra power (plus when you're first learning to fly, 5-7 minutes will seem like a long time!)
Yes, you can use the DXe transmitter/controller included with the RTF version of the AeroScout S to fly other Bind-N-Fly (BNF) Basic aircraft including the E-flite F-15 64mm EDF or the F-16 64mm or 70mm EDFs! However, you may need to change the programming of the transmitter/controller for use with some models.
If you have the DXe that came with the Aeroscout, then you will not be able to program flaps for it. The transmitter included with the airplane doesn't have switch available to use for flaps.
Can You ask NASA to bring a few to Mars? Be interesting to fly on another planet. Or equip the plane with a compressed air jet on it? for the ISS crew when they're bored.🤔😉😎

Oh snap im going learn to fly awsome i like it especially the panic button 😆
I bought one 11 months ago io learn on and now I'm flying warbirds and jets. Great plane.
I just got it today and cant wait to get it in the air!!!
I have this aircraft and it fly's exlant. I love it!
Amazing Aircraft from HH! Looking forward to purchasing one for my self!
Got one Amazing Aircraft coming my way!
Good starter. I don’t even know how to remotely fly but impulse bought it and nose dive it every item and it’s still intact
I have one and it’s great to fly! Have a little trouble getting the battery where I want it from a cg perspective and still get the battery cover on.

Great plane
I plan on getting one tomorrow from my local hobby shop, if they are still in stock, and use it to mount my camera on it.
What camera are you mounting? Did it work?
I never flew before and this plane basically flys itself in beginner mode
Thank you

Getting the Imax charger is totally worth it though you just buy it once and you don't have to worry about getting this charger or that charger
It looks great and it is not available in my country. Who should I get in touch with as I want to resell it into my country.
Just bought one! Almost looks like it would capable of a water take off/landing if you remove the landing gear?
Can I use a different brand battery? The hobby store only had a "lectron pro 11.1V 2200 mAh 50c 2C charge rate

I just ordered the combo from Tower Hobbies.
Excellent aircraft!!!
why did you guys get rid of the flap and aux switches on that DXE?
By any chance is there any exponential pre programmed into the controls?
Where do I buy one from the UK I live in London please help me :)
Also how long does the battery in the aero scout lasts? ( I don't want to loose it in mid flight)

Hello how are you! Excuse me could you use the remote control to fly the f15 or f16

How much weight does it have?
Can I use my iX12 as a training transmitter with the included transmitter?
Yes you can! Wirelessly, or with a trainer cord.
How long would the runtime be
On the included/recommended battery, you can fly for upwards of 10-20 minutes depending on throttle management.

Can the dxe be programmed for flaps

wich there was a fpv version
Pretty easy to convert to FPV
