It isn’t often that a place can boldly claim roots dating back to the Neolithic area, but for Carcassonne, France this is the case. From ancient origins to modern wonder, this city is well established in the history books and is most notable for La Cite Carcassonne, the medieval citadel on a hill that towers over the city proper. So let’s go on a tour of this walled stronghold and take a deep look at what makes it so special. And be sure to stay till the end of the video to hear how to spend your trip after you're done with the iconic streets of The Medieval City.

I really enjoyed my visit here! The church was so beautiful and there was a homemade candy shop where the owner lived above her store.

I was thinking just the same. if you want to make tourist videos, you might at least make an effort to practice and pronounce the names correctly.

Sorry but the modern American accent that gurgles away at the back of the throat is impossible to listen to

That’s not an American accent- that’s is some rando person trying to sound unique. It’s hard for Americans to listen to as well. Terrible pronunciations, and wrong words… era, not area. Enjoyed the video though.

😂😂😂 I’m sorry too I appreciate the video and all but girl! At least try to pronounce the locations the way they are meant to sound even imitating a French accent would be better than this😊 Im American too but come on we have all been exposed to the accents of visitors from abroad or damn haven’t you ever seen a Pink Pather movie lol just try a little!
Oh and just so you know we don’t all sound this way..just like anywhere else ppl from different locations around the country have their own distinct way of speaking (ppl from the south, northeast, midwest, west coast, etc) but still the way she says cite-sitay!😂

I was thinking the same thing but I would say attempting to saying it how it's supposed to be said and failing sounds way worse and people would still have something to say. Un-nesco though?!
