Lol! I wish! The 2024 challenge was intense! That being said, I did feel that my F2P experience served me well. The grind didn't bother me at all, and I knew what to expect all along the way, so I was probably more comfortable than most of the spender CCs. The funny thing is that the challenge was only 90 days, and I feel like real F2P life doesn't kick in until just around 90 days. The NEXT 90 days would have been interesting to watch. I know why HH kept the challenge short, but I'd be curious to see what the leader-boards would look like 6-9 months in.
The real ftp experience start when you got Scyl 😂 before that, at least for me, was a game of resource savings to book her. She brought me to all lv 20 dungeons back in the day. Now I see that if you download the game they give you Teodor for free...
Yes! I agree but I don't think any CC's have it in them to do so, "Colred" included. If he doe's the series I may watch, knowing full well it will not be an ultra challenge.

It took me over a year and a half to beat Faction Wars, but it was so much more fun than dropping any money into the game. When you're in Gold Live Area 2/3 and beat people you know who have spent $100+ on the game, it's satisfying 🤣 Your choice on what you do is justified. Especially with the team changes. You've got a lot to do already, so you'll do it if it's a benefit - no pressure!
I agree. I really enjoy the challenge of being F2P. And I would like to do this year's challenge again. I just have to figure out the details, and then I'll know what's what. I don't want to join the competition and have to bail out 30 days in. That would feel like a waste to me.
I fear that whoever pulls Armanz wins as that was what derailed last years comp, the Armanz fusion came in and whoever completed it was able to clear all content. I can't think of another single pull in this game, including mythicals that will ensure you clear every piece of content in the game easily like our boy Armanz can.
Some early legos could change the game, sure. But I didn't complete the Armanz fusion last year, and I came in 2nd out of all CCs and 7th overall. So I don't think any one champion can determine the outcome, no matter how good.
all the cc's on 2 teams dynamic will be an interesting change to see. i was hoping you would be awarded a team leader position this year, then you could approach it with a low key player-coach/coach-on-the-field type of effort where you are more helping and coaching the rest of your team to high results. and maybe you could decide whether or not to ramp up the effort at the very end, if you found yourself near the top 10 and/or super lucky with shard pulls...
Yeah, I thought about that too. It would have been fun to "coach" a team, but I think that would be tricky with CCs, right? I mean, CCs are generally very good, very experienced players. I think it would be more interesting to coach newer players. Maybe we can do a challenge like that in the future.
Wouild actually absolutely love to hear your new perspective and approach to the game in a f2p style and follow along as well. Being a new player and looking to play a new game, would love to give it a try alongwith.
The 2024 challenge taught me so much. Not just from playing my account, but also from watching what all the other CCs were able to accomplish. I expect this year's competition to build on that even more.
Would like to see you take part in the challange and make videos about it. Last year was so fun! But understand completely if you decide not to do it. I love new accounts, so doing it 😊
Cool! It's fun. It's crazy. It kind of took over my life. I can't play this year with the same dedication, if I do take on the challenge. But I'll be excited to see how you, and other members of our community, perform in the challenge.
I would understand it if you opted out, but man those F2P challenge was one of the most interesting content on raids by miles! Thing is if you split to smaller group like before, it may be down to luck who you got paired with, and some team will die too soon. I think it will be too much of a burden in smaller team, so they opted for a big team. GLHF my dude!

@ColredPlaysRSL 1 more think. Don't worry to feel too much pressure as we know it takes knowledge and skill, however luck is such a big part of a gatcha game. My f2p friend 1 year account got Firrol, Dutchess, Pheidi, Mezomel all in from June onwards he has been crushing the game lol
I would love to see you tackling the F2P - i will pass myself. But of course that decision is entirely yours given real life situations. So dont make huge efforts in boarding this challenge . And im currently using prysma in faction guardians and he is cool i like it :) you can play with it when its my turn for a takeover :D cant wait for that
I like Prysma! That's one champion I'd really like to pull from a shard soon. As for the challenge, I would like to compete IF I can make it work. I enjoyed last year's and I think it would be fun to do again.
2 teams with only top 10 scoring means people can just be casual and there is no pressure or incentive for people not scoring to work. I think that will mean a lot to people will go MIA in month 2 and 3. 3 months is a long time and you needed that team relying on you to stay as active.
Yeah, that's possible, although I'm not sure it's a good thing. A lot of CCs bailed out last year by the midpoint. 90 days may seem like a long time, but for a F2Per, the game barely starts at that point. I hope we can keep more CCs in the challenge for the full 90 days this year.
@ yeah, I see it as a flaw. It would foster inactivity. I’m not sure how to balance three months was too long for the intensity the contest took for many players with the time for accounts to grow. A daily time limit would be helpful but hard to enforce.
That's cool. I know that people (like you!) started watching my channel based on the 2024 HH F2P Challenge. That's one of the reasons I did it, and it would be one of the reasons I would do it again. So, I appreciate the encouragement. 🫡
The f2p challenge would be nice if HH includes some new faces to the Community, i saw some small raid cc that do crazy stuff f2p like mistery shard only, rares only, arbiter speed run, clear campaign normal/hard/brutal 3 stars in 24h
HH opens the challenge to all CCs. They just have to have made 10 RAID videos in the past 3 months, or something. Last year, a lot of the CCs were smaller channels that barely met the criteria. I expect we'll see the same this year.
Yeah, I'm thinking about that too. My concern with that approach is that I have a hard time being casual. I'm going to see other CCs out-performing me, and I'll get all competetive and start pushing. I probably have to do all-or-nothing...maybe.
Hey Colred, I won't join the challenge, but I am looking to become an RSL CC, out of most I see that cover the game, you cover areas well broken down among other Raid CC players! Example of this is your break down of Early, Mid, Late, & End game position.
With a new baby, to me, that is more important than playing another game. You already have so much going on and your child is only going to be at this point in his life this year. Treasure your time with him, RSL challenge will be there in the future.
Yeah, that's another big consideration. My wife is going back to work this month so I'll be on baby duty for at least 6 hours a day by myself. That's the biggest obstacle to doing another challenge this year, for sure.

If you have to make a choice between this challenge and your normal content because you don't have enough time to do both, I'd rather you focused on your normal content. I know this is unpopular opinion , but I don't see the point in seeing all CCs doing the same kind of contents for 3 months.
Last year, I probably did 10-12 videos on the challenge in 90 days, so it doesn't take over the channel. But it's still a decent amount of content, and I can use the new account to do more videos on early game stuff, so that's a plus.
It would ofc be nice if you took part in the challenge but obviously priorities have changed, so you'll have to see if it's feasible. It'll be sad if you don't, but understandable, at least IMO
I liked the F2P challenge 2024 , but the rule of no legendaries was so hard. Hope it's allowed this year, especially since sometimes epics are better than SOME legendaries . It's basically the same, even though legendaries are harder to book as F2P
I understood why they disallowed Legos. It made for a more even playing field, but there's no way to eliminate RNG entirely. Some people pulled Geomancer on their first day. He may as well be a lego under those rules. I would prefer if they included legos this year, just to change it up, but I'm not fussed either way.
They didn't ban legos, they banned pulled legos from shards. The people who won the challenge completed the Armanz fusion and he just carried them away from everyone else and was effectively the free win clear for all content, as he will be this time if any account manages to pull him early.
I would like to do it, but i dont know do i really have time. I try to do everything daily on my account. Maybe this challenge is good to fokus only on most important things... Two months ago i was in bus. I thought about this type of competition and didnt know that it already exist.
Time is the biggest factor, for sure. If you have the time, this kind of challenge can be extremely fun. If you don't have the time, it can still be fun, but you'd have to keep your expectations more reasonable.

Yeah, I'm not sure if the 2 team format is finalized yet. The HH team may throw in some wrinkles to make it more interesting, but I actually really enjoyed the format last year.

I'd love to do it again, but the time commitment is scary. I'm not good at being a casual RAID player, I know that. But if I like the new rules and I can find a way to manage the time, I will try to do it again this year.

That's always the sticking point on alt accounts. There are so many champs I've pulled on alts that I'd love to have on my main - Bad El and Georgid top the list. But it's still fun to play with a new champ, even if it's on an alt. At least, that's how I like to look at it.
The power creep has been real this year. That's one of the things that makes me most interested in the challenge - seeing what it's like to start a new account today.
