Hi there, I read the box description in the qr code edit after someone mentioned that it didn’t fit what we are getting in the box… yeah I’m a bit surprised! It seems like we will receive a box of makeup to create some creative looks … in previous years we’ve received 2 different box variations and Octobers box has always been my favourite because of that plus the contents are always a bit different. I’m guessing they had planned to do the same this year but something came up?! I don’t know sorry but I thought I’d mention it xx
the toner and the two highlighter have been in the box before alot of repeats cancelled subscription months ago glad I did x
I think this box is rubbish, but I've realised over the past few months they're not improving. I used to look forward to them....not anymore. When they do variations with a big price difference it really annoys me. Time for a change.
I paused as I was disappointed, from the name of the box and going on about NY fashion week, Ivthought we'd all get some really nice make-up, but we got repeats, a £5 spray and a deluxe brow gel, not good, and you are right, I wouldnt want any of the 5 variations as tgey have been in previous boxes. Xx 😚 🤗 🥰
I think they intended to provide different contents this month but something fell threw?! It doesn’t make any sense otherwise xx

This is why I cancelled whenever there were variations always seemed to get the lower price products and never got any extra treats .
I got exactly the same as you! This is my 3rd box since resubscribing and I was actually really happy with this one! I’m surprised at all the negative comments tbh but each to their own I guess
This box was supposed to be about experimenting and I can’t for the life of me understand how these products fit in with that. It’s Halloween month, where are all the bold or autumnal colours they used to have at this time? The other thing that annoys me is the box that some people like to keep. Why put a random Women’s face on it and not just keep it to the beautiful design on the back? This is not a good box!
I love the back design more too! It’s beautiful! I think they’d plans for this box fell through, I don’t have contact with them much anymore so I don’t know but it looked like we were getting creative makeup from the brief ?! Xx

My year subscription is finished this month and I won’t be renewing it. Tired of repeats now, it gets dull getting the same products over an over and there’s barely ever any make up these days. Sadness. Thanks for the unboxing ❤
It used to be that Glossybox was makeup heavy and Lookfantastic skincare heavy but I stopped saying that a long time ago but yeah you’re right. You’re welcome ☺️ xx
@@Diaryofabeautygeek yes, we must be old because it's been along time since that time, I used to sub to both for that reason. The LF was mine and the Glossybox I'd rummage through and pick out things I thought I could wear then the rest went into my granddaughters birthday and Christmas boxes, now I struggle to do that, I have to get makeup elsewhere, usualy Asos or next boxes, so she has something decent in her box.

I mean...I like the products mostly. I've been dying to try a brow gel so I'm more excited about that than your average customer I'm sure, I'll use the heat spray and the setting spray, and I'll definitely use the toner. I got the dry shampoo which I'm not keen on but mostly I'll use the boring products. But glam grunge makeup it is not!!
(Also, I'm not a new subscriber but I did get 2 out of the 3 extras in my box)

I got the exact same box as yourself Claire and I’m not a new subscriber. Usually you don’t variation one is the better box. I just wish they would put the mystery iteams as the same value

Really disappointed with this month's box. In the past the one box I've always looked forward to is the October box, I've loved how usually there are 2 variations and the items usually reflect each theme, and the box will kinda reflect Halloween, this is really disappointing

I was extremely disappointed with the variations. As subscribers, we ALL pay the same subscription fee, so EVERYONES boxes should be of the same value. They either use the cheaper variations, or the more expensive variations. This seems very unfair. I've messaged them, and asked either for 1 variant of the more expensive product, or a £10 credit to my account (if you get a cheaper variant your box is worth a minimum of £10 less). Am thinking of cancelling my subscription as well....
Does anyone believe that toner retails for £34, more expensive than Elemis which is a brand with decades of scientific results. That toner is probably made in the same factory where all these ridiculously expensive brands in boxes, like lord and berry, bellepierre, avant. Looks an awful box..that toner is a repeat

Think am going to cancel my subscription the boxes are getting worse not better this box looks the worst one ever and mine is on its way but going cancel its not even worth it just littel sampel bottles and sanitier all the time .
