Loved it (as I do all your videos). Especially seeing just how fast the darkening patina worked, wow. I couldn't hold back and went and ordered some of it. I plan on getting myself into soldering stuff pretty soon, bronze, brass and copper wire mostly. And, you know, solder is usually silver colored. So, this seems to be a great way to touch up and hide the soldered spots and still achieve a uniform finish.

On raw brass if your not sure if there’s a coating on your pieces, would you first need to sand the piece before applying the Swellegant?

Hello, I wasn't able to find the Swellegant tutorial on your website. I did find one Swellegant tutorial titled "Swellegant Cameos! Resin Cameos and Settings Swelleganted with Patina." Is that the one you're talking about? I'm looking to apply it to jewelry findings. My kit from Christi Friesen included a "Swellegant Prep." It didn't come with instructions though I did find them on her website. They don't include when to apply the Swellegant Prep. Can I assume that I should first apply the prep before using the Metal Coating followed by the patina? Thank you for your time and great videos.

I've just discovered your site, and am loving it! Videos, too! Question for you.... is there a swellegant product that you'd recommend for use on regular garden variety bronze charms? I bought a ton, so would love to get a slightly verdigris type patina. Guessing they'd need to be scruffed before and sealed after? I keep hearing 'good for brass', but not sure if raw brass technique would translate to bronze charms. Thanks so much! Look forward to ordering loads of goodies in the future!

... could any of these products be used to add patina to clad coin rings?
