Hiiiiii, i'm doing good just dealing with some health issues and trying to get everything in order for the move to TN, a lot o f moving parts to do what we want to. Hope all is good with you
That's the first i've heard it stopping at 68%, usually it's 85%. Mine stopped at 85 but than cycled through and rebooted with the firmware. I would call ATN Tech Support, more than likely you will have to send it back to get fixed.
In all of your videos, you seem to stay around 3x zoom and take 100 yard or less shots. The ATN web site says this scope comes as like a 3-15x or 5-25x. I was wondering if you could shoot some video (day or night, probably day would be better) showing the max zoom so we can see what the sight picture is like? I don't really care if the image is grainy at high zoom, my question is simply - is it actually a legit 15x or 25x optic? Is the zoom an optical zoom, or purely digital magnification?
Most of the time the hogs are within 100 yards of me, i have the 3x15 my brother has the 5x25, i should have added this to my review under cons, as you zoom in the image does get pixelated, i notice when you get past 6-7 mag this happens. I will check my video gallery and find some of the high mag videos to show you.
here are 2 videos that show 5+ mag. ua-cam.com/video/UOF-8Z3UlV8/v-deo.htmlsi=f1w9xmFu6F_UFVuo and ua-cam.com/video/duVhpKn0wEU/v-deo.htmlsi=mStlJLCEyl_O_xpp
Any luck with this update? I'm on the fence on whether to pull the trigger on this scope. I've heard nothing but problems with it. But I know ATN usually gets things resolved with firmware updates. It just takes forever.
Both of us updated our scopes with the new firmware no problems so far, Scopes operates a lot smoother than before. What we have noticed with the X 5, the first few batches had tons of issues, since March it's rare that we hear of major issues.
@GadsdenFreedomOutdoors awesome! Thanks for the feedback. That's what I wanted to hear. I have an ATN 4k Pro. Great scope, but the technology is starting to show its age and I figured it was time for an upgrade. Thanks again!
No problem, so you know how it goes than, i am on my 3rd X 5, the third scope i got in Feb (knock on wood) zero issues with this one compared to first 2.
Congrats, i'm sure you will like the scope, it is a great scope even though there has been issues in the past. These newer scopes seem to have little to zero issues. GOOD LUCK, let me know how it is working and if you have any questions i will try and help you the best i can
Interesting info Dennis

Hello, my Brother Bill and I have never done a factory reset after a firmware update, not sure why you would have to do a factory reset.
