He is Jericho are easily the first two on my Mount Rushmore. Their ability to get over younger talent and their own multiple gimmicks are the greatest i've seen. Joker Sting is terrible on paper but executed perfectly I loved it.

Sting actually worked to help the business, he was a veteran it was worth having. Him, Angle, Steiner, Dudley's, Hardy's, maybe Flair should have been the majority of the veterans they used for big name guys. RVD probably not, he never did anything to help their own guys. Angle was actually making new stars like Samoa Joe and putting TNA on the map but then the stupid management used the growth to bring in tonnes of creative control guys to bury their own talent. 😢😢😢

During Bound for Glory 2007, Sting actually doesn't block the bat, he takes a full force unprotected bat shot to the face, no sells it, gives Angle a receipt, wins the match and is super busted open. But it made the finish look amazing because Sting so professional with the finish, Angle looked really worried and almost broke character when hit Sting but Borden is a monster lol.

@Etarded Molerat I've already said what I've had to say and you've basically deflected my argument with silly insults. Now, you may think Gail was "mediocre at best" and that is your opinion but I absolutely disagree. She did more to elevate a women's division during that time than WWE did and she is regarded as one of TNA's best female wrestlers ever, something that I agree with alongside most of TNA's fanbase.
With that being said, I won't argue with you any further.

He was 47 when he debuted with TNA. Did you expect him to outwork AJ? He was there to add star value and put over younger talent just like Jericho is doing for AEW. He wasn't meant to be a full time main eventer. He received plenty of bumps with WCW and the major knee surgeries prove it. Luckily he had better luck than Nash and recovered from his surgeries virtually 100%.

Sting vs Hogan ended up being a great spectacle match. For the state Hogan was in, he performed well and pulled out enough heel moves to keep the match feeling fresh. Sting has always been over, and him abusing Hogan's back to get the win made perfect sense. Good psychology since Hogan often speaks about his back issues publicly and occasionally on the show. The post match beat down was a thing of beauty though. It's like somebody opened a can of crazy fan noise soda. Definitely the top moment of Hogan's TNA run. No question about that.

Sting and flair went at it for 30ish min. Sting won the title from flair and walked through the crowd. After Sting was walking off flair put his foot on the rope. The ref turned around and pointed at it and rang the bell amd counted Sting out while he was in the locker room. Still the match was amazing.

Sting vs Angle is TNA version of Sting vs Ric Flair in wcw from mid 80s to mid 90s. Always gonna draw and always gonna get 5 stars

The reason he didn't cover after the spiral tap was cause Kurt missed his sign to run down. Simple as that. Also Sting "blocks" it from hitting his brain by stopping it with his skull.

    "Sting"
No selling for them, you're the one punch man.
Sitting in the rafters while you make your plans.
Rappelling to the ring with a bat in hand
    It's the icon
    Big man.
    Sting.
Fell asleep one night while wrestling on the road. Then Wake up to the light on the tvs "the crow". Get a new idea "they ain't seem this before", blondies going badass, threw the bleach out the door.
A little stolen gimmick and a want to perform and then he steps into the Centre takes the world in his storm. "A true force of nature" he's a man in his form in his grease paint baby yeah an icon is born.

Out of all the superhero characters in wrestling… the select few who can take a lot of punishment and then “hulk up” and win the match… Hogan, Warrior, Goldberg and Taker… Sting and Taker are the best workers amongst the bunch. Goldberg is the absolute worst.

I’m from the old school becoming a wrestling fan in 1985/86 so I’ll always be loyal to the young Surfer Sting. Super babyface, crazy over and his feud with Vader is one of my all time faves in wrestling. Especially the Superbrawl III strap match they had

Honestly, TNA as far as Sting in the black and white look.
I think Sting in 99-01 WCW was great, where he actually spoke and didn't just brood all the time. TNA took that and ran with it.
      Such an under-rated guy imo

You know Hawk every time you say perc angle, I think of when him and abyss are fighting and he throws abyss through a wall under the stage. but the thing people don't talk about is that while Don West and Mike are talking saying we don't know where they are about a minute later you see angle get thrown out one of the same walls through the other side
