- UC Davis's Cal Aggie marching Band-uh! performs music from it's favorite videogames, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, and Guitar Hero.
i wish our marching band could do cool stuff like this!!

Man that was Epic! And coming from a Marcher's Viewpoint, sure, they weren't on point with the marching all the time, but DAY-UM! that was NICE. Ssheeit. If my school had that many people interested in Band, we would totally do something like this...but. So We're doing 300 :The Last Stand

There isn't much a band of that size can do formation wise. I believe that is what Spirittiger was trying to say.

ok... yes, the first "to" seconds were not very together, but that's what you get when they practice the song for only 4 days and then do the show. It comes together later, a bit out of tune, but still great.
Next time watch for more than "to" seconds.

I don't understand all the negativity these kids did a great job. So some were out of tune...these are kids not professionals and they performed music of the pop culture they've grown up with. Give them a break and stop criticizing. I have two kids in band and even I enjoyed it. Some people just aren't happy with anything I suppose and need to find a new hobby....or anger management classes.
No need to be a hater, now. And their rendition of a Guitar Hero song was pretty awesome. Shame you prematurely ended it.
Well u need to look up Cal State University of last year, Hoover High of 2001, Moanalua High of 99' and Lincoln High of 03'. Trust me you will change your mind about that
cals was good drill but these guys sound waay better.
I love my school band! They give me such a since of school pride. These guys are awesome. This year they played the Indiana Jones theme song. They played the Rick Roll song, the internet is for porn, numa numa. These bring it hard!

if you are complaining about people like me but have you ever seen how the band uh criticizes other bands. if you listen to their fight sing they even say in it "sac state sucks" which i heard when they performed at the state fair last year. not tasteful. i am in band and support all bands even the band-uh. people comment on my band performances all the time. that's the way it is. besides if you don't like my comments ignore them. as for anger management, that was a stupid comment.

There was this band that played this exact same show but differnt drill and they sucked mucho greatly. Well not that bad they got second to last place in class A

You are right about the intonation and being together, there are some bad spots. But guess what? That's what happens when the whole band is volunteers who get no credit, and they learn the whole show and music in ~8 hours.
There is definite room for improvement, but my god, kill me if the UCD Aggie Band-uh ever does a performance like the Green Machine shows you've posted.

That "Frankenstein" sounds an awful like the USC version...
i applaud them for being dedicated but if they perform a new show every week, they should give it their all. Every performance i have seen is badly performed. obviously they do not take pride in their shows. it always seems as if they are more interested in taunting the other bands than playing a show.
personally, I would never want to perform a crappy looking or sounding show. i would be embarrassed.
Thats deffinatly not true. They're guitar hero song is called Frankinstein and theres many differnt versions to it. And the high school version sounds way better! I hate high stepping marching bands. I dont see the point. It makes u tired quicker!
pretty dirty show, music and drill wise. obviously they do not know the meaning of cover and they are doing very easy formations. trumpets are out of tune and the horns were off at times. Drum line wasn't loud or clean either.
hands up the guy in the wheel chair though he really tries and is amazing. I have seen him march for the past couple of years and hes good.

psh, are u kiding me? My band is much bigger and we move 100 times more then that...we don't just stand there and play...that's boring
