We could not take it out without removing the vacuum. It was a pain taking it out. there are 3 screws as I remember on the vacuum, and the problem is that the socket as it unscrews the screw, the screw pushes your socket backwards, and then you feel that the screw get tighter. If that is the case then you have to unscrew at an angle because your socket gets stuck in a lip as the screw pushes it back. At least that is what I noticed taking it apart.
Pro tip.. Mercedes you can actually use the wheel lug bolt tool in your boot/Trunk spare tire kit to remove the drive belt off of the engine. Just a tip. One day I had my belt get chewed up and tear off and had to pull over since I had no belt. I walked 2 miles to the auto parts store bought a new belt had no tools in my car but the spare tire lug bolt fits right on the belt tensioner and it works better than a socket less likely to slip or pop off and bust ur knuckles. Just a tip that can save you in a pinch and make your passengers look up to your handy knowledge and mechanical capabilities

I did everything besides pull it out it’s stuck in there , my vacuum won’t unscrew
