This channel is increasingly becoming my go-to for all things chess improvement - such helpful content!
One piece of feedback: the aspect ratio you used in some of your earlier videos, like “Three Chess Principles You Must Know”, (where the board diagram takes up half the screen and the banners are above/below the video of you) are more ideal for folks watching on smaller screens with limited real estate.
    Cheers!

Thanks a lot for the kind words and the feedback!
Making videos with the Chessnut board is what makes it possible for me to produce such videos. So I can't completely get rid of it. I hope you understand
But I do my best to increase the size of the digital board. It's already significantly bigger this time and I have another idea how to make it even bigger next time.

This was an incredible explanation of what I'm suppose to be doing in the middle game. Thank you for another greatly informative video!

Great advice as always! As soon as you said "you might not want to play all the best engine moves" I knew you were going to take a dig at Kramnik 😅

My chess game improved so strong from your videos. I am still early (800+ ELO) but after weeks of consuming your videos, I have gained high percentages of good moves in the middlegame..it really changes everything because most people loose in the middle. You're explanation is so clear and good to understand ! Thank you for your work in the chess community ❤

That was a really good video! Quite a lot of points to take away. However, I don't fully understand how you know, for example, that you should attack on the queenside?
Unfortunately, as black I would never find the plan with Ba4 either, I think it has something to do with my focus on material over activity, which I think many "underrated" have problems with. Do you have a suggestion for training this aspect?

      Thank you!
Well, focus on the part of the board where you are stronger or have an attacking potential.y opponent was stronger in the center and kingside so I attacked on the queenside.
Yes, focus more on the pieces activity (each piece should have a useful job) instead of material. It's all about the number of active pieces.
