That happened to my husband and myself when we went fishing under Lillian bridge. Our bass raider started drifting away cause the same thing happened to our rope! But Mike caught it with his fishing line and reeled it back in! Glad to see your doing good jack!

Really felt for you when you lost that fish. It happened to me a few months back I lost a massive kingfish right at the boat after fighting it for 20 mins on light gear
