However much I really enjoy Oliver’s work and ideas, in a upside down world, I’ve just witnessed, as an electrician, the worst lampshade as demonstrated by Oliver on a beautiful stand. I’m completely baffled. As an art piece, we’ll done
Outstanding wood 👍👍
Such a cool thing to make with hardly any waste from one log. I love it!
I love it. Perfect amount of light for the TV room. And no one else has one like it! One of a kind, much like it's creator! You're always amazing. 👍🙏❤🇺🇸🇺🇸
That is a very original idea. Fantastic work and a very Cool lamp.
💡That is awesome having the bark as the shade. Great piece! ✨
Amazing--and I didn't realize until the very end that you were making a lamp, with a shade made of bark! There's no woodworking channel on youtube quite like yours. Your pieces are truly one of a kind. Master craftsman!
Beautiful light!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️
That was a very nice execution of a unique idea. I especially appreciate the way that you went about stabilizing the bark. That was elegant solution.
Beautiful and organic! I love that you were able to use the bark for a shade. 👍
As soon as I figured out it was a lamp, I got very excited. So awesome! (That was a very effective thumbnail, btw)
So often the bark is the most beautiful part of a log. I'm so glad you were able to make good use of it.
The second you removed the bark I knew what you were going to do. This is gorgeous! You never fail to amaze with your creativity.
Watching you is like watching an origami master. You never know what it's going to be until that final moment. Love it!
When in doubt, it's always a lamp with this guy.
When I saw you pop that bark off I immediately thought "God I hope he makes that into a lampshade!"
That is so cool. One of a kind lamp. I love watching all of your videos. ❤❤❤
I never would have guessed! Thanks for sharing!
How lovely and yes unlikely since bark is so hard to keep intact. Quite unexpected, thoroughly unique, very beautiful, and very much you, Olivier. Thank you for sharing this bit of joy.
stupéfiant, génial...un magnifique chef d'oeuvre!
une autre merveille de monsieur Gomis. Bravo!
Love the lamp base - and then the shade came along, brilliant!! What a genius idea, Well done!
That is so creative on how to use the complete log! Awesome
SIMPLY BRILLIANT truly unique and well made
Magnifique, comme à chaque fois.
That is pretty cool Olivier. Thank you for sharing.
Always amazing watching your videos to see what you come up with always amazing work and beautiful peace’s
A very interesting concept Olivier. Well done.
encore un super projet, bravo !
Très bonne idée. C'est très beau. Amitiés Olivier.
I had no idea where this was going while you were doing it. It was very fun when it turned out to be a lamp! Love it!
Hi Oliver, this lamp is so beautiful and rustic. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Very nice! Great work!
Olivier, that is absolutely fantastic.
Please flip the bark shade. was kind of hoping to see the lamp shade either way. With little space between the body I think would have had a cool effect and maybe even a colored light. Really awesome. Couldn't figure out what you were doing first but what a really good idea and I'm glad it worked out
Bravo à toi Olivier de toujours trouver comment s'adapter à chaque particularité de ce que le morceau de bois choisi soit finalement sublimé en un objet unique et original ! Toujours une belle découverte à regarder, merci à toi 🙏
What funny and great idea. Well Done Olivier!
Solid idea man!
belle lampe Olivier, je t'envoie un gros câlin et des bénédictions pour toi et ta famille de Buenos Aires Argentine
Oh my gosh! That is soooo cooool! Love it!

По началу думал, что это огромная клизма, но результат порадовал.

Where the grain takes you 😊
Thanks for sharing!
Brilliant…as always!
Amazing job. Well done! 👏👏👏
That's awesome, Olivier. I do appreciate your creativity.
What great use of the bark. Your creativity is really amazing!
Another amazing piece of work! I especially liked how there were a couple small holes in the shade that let light escape.
Thanks !
joli résultat 👍
Superb, what a wonderful job of turning
Simply stunning, I like the way you used the bark
I enjoyed watching the vid..... I loved how it works out
very good Olivier, Great idea with the bark
You have one genius mind young man 👍🏼🇺🇸
If you need a bit more light for reading just turn the bark shade around until the knot hole faces your book! 👍😂👍
Whoua c'est magnifique 🤌🏼
I thought it was top notch, the Mrs wasn't so keen, and she says it probably smells very woody, and not let much light through. Ho hum can't please everyone. I enjoyed watching.
Very neat looking lamp
So clever! You are such a delightful combination of old school technique and modern creativity. I love seeing what you create, it is always unique, a true testament to your level of skill!
::grin:: And some solid video editing really doesn't hurt.
Well Done! Thank you for posting!

Good fortune finding a log that had the bark coming off but not just shattering into bits.
Spent ages what the bark bit was for! Superb
Sorry it took me this long to watch. But this piece is super cool. I love it!!!
Very cool that the shade and base all came from that log
Very interesting.
Unique my brother, thanks for sharing
T'es un génie mec !
You are creative!

You are truly amazing 👏👏👏
Love this design. Didn't figure out it was a lamp until almost the end. Unlikely, indeed!
I love this so much.
I can't remember at what point I knew this was going to be a lamp.
Probably the small hole at the bottom of the base lol. Some ppl prolly knew from the moment you made the shade fitting. 🤗
Nice work, like what you did
Eine echt tolle Arbeit, fantastisch
Very cool Oliver.
Amaizing!!!
Great job and video canada
Very clever, as always.
Buenos dias:
No me gustaría que suene mal, pero empiezas con una idea que solo tú entiendes, para hacer obras magníficas.
Gracias por compartir estas creaciones. Reitero gracias.
Great work dude. 👍👍
Was a bit confused at first but now wow!
Great project..I would have liked to see the shaft shorter and the shade closer to the lamp base though.
Love it.
Very creative.
Tres beau boulot
Oh, cool! I was wondering the whole time how it would fit together at the end! If you wanted more light, you could run a strip of RGB LED lights inside the top, too, under the edge of the top lip, and then you would have choice in terms of the level of illumination. 💖
Really nice!!
This is so cool!!! ❤❤❤
👍👍 very nice !
You are not only practical but also have talent and imagination. Great job. Keep up the good work 🌞
Cool; Now I want one!
Wow. Wonderful!!!
