    How in the world do you only have 179k subscribers? Your techniques are at least equal, if not superior to, so many other channels. The "improvised" tools you use in each video are certainly professionally made ( steadyrest, hollowing rig) ... nevermind the "inside the vessel while turning" shot! I do not think I've seen that anywhere else. Fantastic work!

    Just want to say how much I love this channel. Not only are the pieces you create amazing, but so is the videography. Also really appreciate the consistent use of PPE -- so important but all too often ignored.

Maintenant je sais. Ouf. Superbe pièce Monsieur Olivier. Toujours un plaisir de te voir pratiquer ton talent. Et merci d'avoir montré la configuration et le modèle pour sculpter l'intérieur. C'était très intéressant à voir.

      Yes, I saw that title, and I was expecting to see a UA-cam warning about blood & gore! Thank goodness that did not happen, and they turned out to be wooden stitches. Olivier always amazes me with the detailed work on his pieces.

    Wasn’t sure what sort of “stitches”you were referring to in the title, so I’m glad it didn’t involve a trip to the hospital. That piece looks amazing! Also, I’m impressed by the way you were able to keep the piece stable through the process. Kudos!!

    Had to watch cause I had no idea what you was making. The camera inside was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Very unique. Keep up the great work and always remember shop rule #1, safety first. Fingers and limbs dont grow back.

    I’ve seen a lot of wood turning channels. Some are informative, some make nice work, most talk to much. But Olivier Gomis is of a different planet. Amazing videos, skill and intelligent approach of making this amazing pieces of art.

    I’m absolutely in love with lamp. It’s gorgeous, reminds me of oriental craftsmanship. Happy to see you added the pegs instead of resin. And making it a standing light, even better. The wood is beautiful.

    Oliver, you continue to outdo yourself! The sheer size and audacity of turning a piece of this size with that many cracks, the hollowing rig, the template, truing it up after it warped, lighting it from the inside, I am but a child at the lathe, you are the master.

    Comme je suis débutant en tournage, je visionne pas mal de vidéos! Vu les fentes dans le morceau de départ, je me suis dis, ça va encore finir avec de la résine.
