To all you haters. Stephen is almost 70. The voice box is made of cartilage and when cartilage is stretched it never goes back to original size. This is the same for guitar players who have hand issues.
Yea, his voice is awful, and the (double whammy) He cannot sing. There is a distinction there. He never was a good singer. Now he can't sing at all so he just speaks the lines and milks this thing for the final drips. I'm guessing after they load their own gear at 1 am, the band scarfs a couple of bags of McChickens in the van on the way to the next gig in Hooterville, Arkansas at the Knights of Columbus hall. It's the US leg of The Gravel Road tour 2024.
