So proud of Australia - and I'm in the US! Way to go into the future.

the beset part about vertical farming is that it's decentralized - just about anyone can pick it up - and you just don't need much money to get going. it can be as easy as buying a microgreens tray with led lights and some water. Even easier - sorouting - a jar, water, and seeds - and air! That's free!

Are there any independent studies on the environmental impact of manufacturing, operating, maintaining and eventually decommissioning these facilities? It feels a bit like buying a more economical car every month to save the environment? And I always want to know what funding was or wasn’t received?

We're replacing checkout operators Australia-wide with self checkouts - but replacing one farmer working 100 hour weeks with one farmer working 30 is the end of the world? Come on.

Wow - these facilities consume a lot of power. I suppose that’s what you get for phasing out the sun 🤣
