    Ich bin als Ex-Berliner, bereits mehrfach mit dem NJ 457 Berlin-Vienna und Vienna- Berlin im Schlafwagen Deluxe mit Dusche und WC im Abteil gefahren, leider durch die Pandemie wurde der NJ vor rüber gehend eingestellt, ich freue mich schon sehr auf die wieder Inbetriebnahme ende Mai 2021, da werde ich wieder diese Verbindung nutzen. Man spart praktisch 1 Nacht im Hotel in Berlin durch die Nachtfahrt. Das Betreuer Team im Nachtzug ist sehr höflich und erfüllt gerne die Wünsche der Gäste. Bevor es ins Bett geht, gibt man sein Ticket sowie die Frühstücksbestellung beim Betreuer des Schlafwagens ab und gibt bekannt wann man geweckt werden möchte bzw. das Frühstück serviert sollte. Ich war bisher mit dem Service rund um zufrieden.

    • @barvdw
      @barvdw 3 роки тому

      @@jakubadamczyk1523 which is why you want a night train with a lot of padding. I don't think many passengers would mind waiting say half an hour longer in Breclav, the train already has a stop of 99 min there, for decoupling the parts to Bratislava and Budapest and having some buffer. BTW, in weather like the last few days, many flights are also cancelled or heavily delayed...

    Due to Coronavirus problem with Polish transport is if you cross country by not your own transport (car, bike or by foot), yoy've mandatory 10-day quarantine, so people avoid trains, because after going by your own transport you doesn't have to be in quarantine 😂
    It's even quite popular get off train/bus before crossing a country, go by foot through border and get in - the same mean of transport if possible, or now domestic mean of transport XD

    Really excellent video and I wonder why it has to go to Poland in order to arrive at Wien Hbf from Berlin Hbf. The older route is quicker via Nahverkehr Dresden Elsterwerda-Dresden section because DB BR101 can stay until Dresden Hbf where ÖBB 1216 gets attached from Dresden Hbf to Wien Hbf via Schöna Bodenbach Prag Brünn Lundenburg Nordbahn Route. Rare situations ÖBB1216 goes all the way to Berlin Hbf.

    When it's empty like this you can save money by booking a bed in a 3-person compartment. It's unlikely you'll end up with strangers in your compartment.
    I took the nightjet once in 2020 (Linz to Aachen) and found myself with one other person in the compartment who however got out early in the morning so I had the compartment for myself during breakfast.

      I agree that narration would make the video much better. You can maintain the sounds of the journey and only talk about the important points. For example, you could have gone into detail why you don’t feel safe with the Ochrona on board. We are left confused as to why you made that assessment, but a small narration to explain your views would be helpful. If you feel that people will judge your accent or ability to speak English, don’t let that stop you.
      If you insist on captions, then can you please post full sentences in the video instead
      of breaking them up?

    Hi there, I have booked OBB Nightjet from Vienna to Berlin in May at Seating cariage, but I didn't chose compartment Coach 2nd class, I chose Comfort Ticket/Flex at Private compartment - exclusively for you or your group(max. 3 adults per compartment). Do you have any idea what the difference is? Is it better?
    It is a little more expensive than compartment Coach 2nd class(174.5 EUR for 3 seats). We are 3 persons and we want to know if we can enjoy a little rest, bearing in mind that in the normal compartment we can make the seats into beds only if we are the only ones in the compartment of 6.
    Thanks.
