those transitions were amazing to see very new looking and fresh you guys utilized space and the energy was top tier keep going i love this line since yall slayed at the MLK gym event. much love from jersey and famu
My comments are consistent in these videos. The Stingettes are the best HBCU danceline in the stands, but their field shows are a front-row seat to watching each of the dancer's skill levels and techniques. This is not a field show danceline. You would need to clone Khaliya about 8 times to turn this team into a field show line, but they look hella good in the stands.

This def look like I didn’t prepare nothing for y’all so let’s make it up on the spot and run with it! Maybe capt auditions needs to include an impromptu “you got 3 hours to produce a field to this song” because that’s really important in that role
It’s the same routine as Honda BOTB. Looks like less girls this time though and captain auditions do consist of a field show routine. Remember that only a handful of these girls are from ‘21 (even the captain) while the majority are crabs. So coming from a crab to being captain is very difficult, especially trying to embody the essence of being a legendary Stingette. So, please, give them some grace. To rebuild a legacy will take some time.
@@trentjohnson3302 captain is from 20. She started under Brianna. The girls look great stand wise. They are also very talented so wasting 8 counts doing a butt wave and elementary ripples is unacceptable especially for the level of talent they have. Love the stings down and I want them to succeed but there is definitely a problem with field shows. This team has already proven if given the choreo, they can do it. Look at the first field show. It’s not the team. And I heard they did not do auditions last year cuz Lea was only sting coming into her third year.
@@beereal8623 even if she did come under Brianna they still didn’t perform until the spring time with limited games. Which led to limited experience. Stand wise many think that there are too many counts repeated but I digress because at least they look together. As for field shows some are just a hit and miss. The butt wave I think was put there to get everyone back into placement because at first it was a lot of moving parts and a lot to keep your eyes on. The ripples I think were ok because it’s something that I rarely seen them do and as long as it was timed correctly it flowed. It wasn’t all around fantastic don’t get me wrong but it did look more cleaned up since the Honda BOTB. IMO it’s not the choreo it’s just too many girls
@@trentjohnson3302 I do agree that it looked better this time but for me it was because the horrible stunt was replaced. I want this whole team back next season. All they need is an upgrade on the field shows. I appreciate the cleanliness and attention to details. I like that they move as one. The basketball team presentation gave me flashbacks of every body trying to be the star of the show, the lack of attention to details, and a vibe of every man for himself. This team is a unit!! Bridgette and Lea has done a good job getting this team right. They just need help with field shows and maybe overall presentation.

Everybody hates Bridgette and Dr. O together but she produced some legends! As for field shows, like I said, they are hit and miss some seasons. I think about the past 10 years as a team ( which I have been a fan longer than that but..) we have only had a handful of captains that brings everything in both field and stands. Even though people hate this, we need a little of old school stings back. I’m sure the old stings are willing to help. Asia and Yasmine brought a really technical style to them which I wish they kept but we also need a little bit of KeKe. Bridgette used to cut girls while in the stands if they messed up too much but ‘09-‘16 was the truth. There is definitely power in numbers and I see they are trying to make a new and reformed legacy but I’m with you on the presentation, it’s more important.
