Ben, you had to follow this person and hiding the fact Eggie and majority of your content is sponsorships you would never actually use unless paid for, Eggie has died because it was a fraud clothing line, cheating young audiences (where is the Coming Clean about Eggie video) and finally people are waking up even though it was there at the start, ghosting her previous customers - 'So sad. She has definitely lost her touch and her charm.
When I think about it, she doesn't really have style or personality. Take away Dawn's graphics, the editing, the lighting, the angles... and what's left? Strip away the fake "wows", the head bobbles, the childish way her eyes get bigger ( :o ) at the most mundane things... then who is she? I'm easily amused and take pleasure in the little things in life, but she's just so obnoxious about it. It's clear she thinks she's so special and quirky.
She just follows whatever she thinks is trendy at the time. When she was dating a hipster and was living in the Bay Area, she went full force on hipster clothing and literature. She bought AA disco pants and Jeffrey Campbell Tardy boots because everyone else had disco pants and Tardy boots. Now she's playing the cool LA girl.
I'm glad she put out Eggie, because we can truly see she has no sense of style. She's gotten this far simply because she is pretty and pretends to be relatable. No self-respecting fashion lover would put out such a mish-mash pile of garbage into the world. In Chriselle's JOA video, she mentioned she designed the pieces a year in advance. She speaks about the history, design process, and versatility of all her pieces. The whole line was designed by the time Nordstrom asked for exclusivity. And Jenn has the audacity to say she's been working "on this collection for so long"? Girl, you looked at a line up of samples and said yes or no.'

I love the way they are always looking at both perspectives and ultimately looking to find peace in every situation. This was so helpful because in modern times I feel like social media has developed a sense of entitlement within everyone which causes them to live egotistical lifestyles where it’s just about “me me me” . That isn’t gratifying to me, and Jen and Ben really highlighted how personal sacrifice is an element to living a happy life especially when trying to maintain relationships. This level of awareness and empathy is so so rare I don’t think these two realise what a rare and perfect pair they are. Literally the blueprint for every relationship I love them 😭

I feel like how you answered the cheating question was super realistic and mature. Most defer to the “once a cheater, always a cheater” answer but it’s usually a multilayered situation

I think for the parent one, it's also important to set your boundaries. You can be empathetic and understanding but that doesn't mean you need to take abuse
You can make this “pod video” series for literally an hour long (not kidding) and I’d still watch it happily and willingly cuz it’s so goooooood!!! It’s really fresh for own mind and soul,understanding & listening to other peoples’ perspective and thoughts. It makes you see and think differently from how you usually thinks and do. And it’s really a good thing.

I think instead of just compromising, it’s actually okay to speak up a bit to your friend that you wish they can reach out more. Jenn you also mentioned in one of your videos that you actually opened up with your friend about the same issue.

That friendship question is something I have been in.. but I was the other end where I never reach out. My best friend actually ask me about that and I told her... that I don't know how to reach out to people nor plan things because I have grown up with parents that told me no every time I wanted to hang out with friends. I have always been home with literally no social life and thank goodness she is so understanding. I am better now and have been putting more of an effort of gather friends for trips.. taking little steps at a time.
You're both a match made in heaven ... love u guys

I think keeping track of who reaches out the most is something I am trying to work on as it seems like an ego thing (my opinion). Everyone has a different definition of effort and value texts and calls differently. I am not afraid to reach out to people and I want to work on my resentment when others don't reach out back -- my ego comes out because of these unspoken expectations. That's why I'm working on not taking things personally because I don't know what goes on in someone's mind and life 24/7.
I like what Ben said that people have different strengths. At the same time, I believe that if you REALLY, truly want someone in your life, you will reach out to them.
Last thought is that friendships come with flaws. No one is perfect and everyone has their own individual relationship with people. You may not get the same treatment that someone gives someone else and you have to accept the way someone is if you want to continue a relationship or friendship with them. Don't expect people to change to cater to you when they have other people in their lives who take up valid space as well. Don't compare friendships, each friendship is unique and special in their own nuanced ways. I'm not perfect and neither are my friends, but I love my friends and want to do life with them and GROW with them.
