Dude, love it. I've built several OG-Boogeyman-Decks. Three Animars and two iterations of Kaalia. I love how some really old cards get boosted by stuff like the new Ozolith. Or new ways to protect them and give them haste, thinking about Kaalia.
My Animar Decks are always heavily focused on creature ramp like Wood Elves, Incubation Druid, Gala Greeters, Yavimaya Elder or Rishkar. I think they fullfill the purpose of ramping while casting creatures and (mostly) fixing your colors way better than spells like Rampant Growth or Natures Lore.
My Kaalia is mostly angel tribal with a small double combat subtheme, just for spice. I recently added Goro-Goro, Giada, Firemane Commando and Drana and Linvala. Also, love the interaction between Rampage of the Valkyries and an opponents Dictate of Erebos.
Both of them regularly are seen as huge potential threats by players with a lot more expensive decks and both of them won a fair share of games for me.

I'm late to the party but just built my own non-cedh Animar deck recently focused around cheating out large Eldrazi and it's proven to be very fun. Managed to get out Kozilek, and Emarkul the following turn for free with only 3 lands in play lol.

Very good information. Tranquil delivery - useful direction. I have an Animar deck they use his most of this, but is heavier on the Eldrazi & life-gain.

Kozilek, Butcher of Truth has a home in several commander options. Including but not limited to; Liberator, Urza's Battlethopter. The Gitrog Monster. Jhoira, Ageless Innovator.
When I noticed the interaction between All Will be One and The Red Terror... Holy cannoli was it interesting.
I had an animar elemental deck that was just delightful. The core of that is now an omnath deck, go figure. I tried to do hydra/tyranid tribal but it didn't pop off right so I might try that again with these guidelines. Thanks!
Still choosing cards for my new animar deck. While I didn't get Vorinclex, it shouldn't be an issue. Doubling Seasons, Primal Vigor, and Hardened Scales combined will make my Arcbound Overseer 28/28 on cast and be 8 bigger every turn. Add Hydra's Growth and oh boy. Nearly 300/300. And if it dies, another artifact creature is now 1200/1200. Goodbye life gain decks!
I think Animar artifact creature storm is a fun and fair way to play it :)
Vexing Shusher and destiny spinner are two of my favorite staples to stop control players. Rythm of the wild is also an excellent choice. Good selection to make this build not as oppressive as it can possibly become.

If you were to add an "I win card" Ancestral Statue is up there
Actually, I'd just add Purphoros, God of the Forge as the 2nd card for the combo. Purphoros does damage to the table whenever a creature hit the battlefield on Animar's side. The statue can use its' triggered ability on itself, returning it to hand for immediate recasting and 4 or more counters on Animar or sufficient open mana can be an instant win as long as no one counters the Statue or removes it with the trigger on the stack. There's are plenty of cards that make Animar's creature spells un-counterable (like the Rhythm of the Wild or Surrak, Dragonclaw) or to move the target of a point removal spell elsewhere.
Have a animar hydra/nid deck and its super fun to yeet huge hydras down left and right
