That's basically my truck. Only mine is a 2013, Extended Cab, Non - Z71 but still 4x4, and mines blue ray metallic. Love the headlights and taillights.
I just got this installed on my 2010 sierra and the truck is not leveled at all. I will need additional 2 inch spacers in the front so it can sit leveled. On a positive note, the ride quality is great.
i bought an 07 that someone stuck spacers on the front factory struts (213000 Miles) and its rougher than hell haha, hitting a pothole is like the end of the world for me. back isnt lifted at all but it needs to be. would installing this kit here make it much more of a rough ride than stock? ive never really had lifts on any vehicle so i dont know how theyre supposed to ride. im going to try looking up these parts today, if you have any part numbers for the stuff in this video that would be awesome. thanks
Rough Country has been known to have a rougher ride than stock. We’d suggest looking into BDS or McGaughys if you are trying to keep the same ride quality! bit.ly/2wToqFu
@@CustomOffsetsTV I may have to do that. The ride quality sucks now but it's just factory 213k mile struts with spacer blocks so I would imagine if I get some fresh lift struts with no spacers and some new shocks in the back then it would be a vast improvement even if it was rough country. Bc right now when I hit a mud puddle it feels like I'm driving right off a cliff I may as well not have any suspension at all
I have two years with the RC 5’ lift , still doing great
Dude has come a long way, not that long ago when he was doing this, he looked like he was about to have a panic attack or cry. Doing a lot better man!

Is there a video tutorial for a rough country 5" NTD lift for a 2017 Silverado 2500HD anywhere?
correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the 7.5' kit uses this kit but with 2.5' spacers?
No there are quite a few different things that are different about the 5" to the 7.5" kit, mainly components to attain better angles and such.
I wonder the same thing.
What size spacer was used in the rear to equal out the track width, with the front?
Great video Brad ! Keep up the good work 👌💯
For those of us whose bedsides aren't rusted out yet...
Can I run bilstien 5100’s with this kit??
what about the angle of the Lower Control Arm? what would you recommend?

Is this install basically the same for the 14-17s?
There are some differences depending on years
Hows the quality of this? Do any other companies sell the 5 inch lift?
how would this look on oem wheels?
What did you do for your break lines? Did you have to extend them?
It comes with rear brake line brackets! Read the description here! bit.ly/2vTm6hz
The struts didn’t come s as a full assembly ...why
If I have a 35” tire on a rim with -12 offset and I’m assuming around 10” width will that work with the 5” lift
Check our gallery out for fitment help Matt! Tons of trucks to compare to! customoffsets.com/gallery
it should my cousin has a 2.5 inch leveling kit and has 20x10 on 33s and it barley rubs at full turn
Definitely will fit if you norcal mod it. I have 34"x11" on 20" rims on a 3" lift kit
Would it be difficult to fit 35 inch tires on this lift?
You can do it but depending on wheel width you might have to do some trimming!
Is it worth paying extra money and buying the forged upper control arms
Its definitely worth it if you can swing the extra expense, otherwise is not needed or required!
Do you need the rough country upper control arms? Would they help with angles and such?
They are not fit for 5” kits
Wtf does that mean? I bought a 5" lift from RC and it didn't come with new upper control arms should I have bought some?
Where’s a vid on the 2wd 5” rough country lift?
Unfortunately we don't get too many 2wd trucks in in general, living up in Wisconsin =\
Can I fit 37s with 26x10 on this lift?
Definitely not
No you'll need atleast a 7.5" kit and you'll have to do a norcal mod and a bunch of butchering.
no definitely not even 35’s would need trimming
Whats the wheel and tire sizes ?
Jacob Barragan I second this question @customoffsets
The wheel is a 20x9 +0 and the tire is a 295/55/r20!
would you be able to fit 20x12
Would this kit work without the cross members?
