The reason origins is my favorite Arkham game is because the police actually hunt you, the criminals truly fear you, and and everyone thinks you either don’t exist or are some kind supernatural beings
3:33 Nine years later and this scene still cracks me up. "He was in my way so I mop the floor with his body after I knocked him unconscious" It only makes it better when Alfred contacts him a split-second later, sounding like a disappointed father.
29:49 Does it ever occur that Captain Gordon is completely oblivious to the fact that GCPD is on the take of every single criminal organizations? To me, I would've already acknowledged Batman's actions, help him escape Branden's trigger happy SWAT team, and have Internal Affairs fire pretty much all of GCPD except Gordon himself.
NakedSnake1836 Also Gordon should know better than to just stand in the middle between Batman, who's willing to join forces with him, and the SWAT team, who won't hesitate to kill two birds with one stone, or should I say, a gun.
It's worse than that actually. Gordon was being extremely stubborn, naive and short-sighted. Barbra said herself he had way too much faith in the system, even when it was obvious how broken it was. Despite knowing that Loeb sent cops to not only spy on his daughter, but to kill him, he still wanted to believe that all cops were good. Either that every cop had the same sense of right and wrong as he did or that simply having a badge necessarily meant that they worked within the law. He just wasn't ready to except the truth for what it was.
Bruh Lieutenant Branden gets knocked on his ass twice in this game one at GCPD and two at Blackgate by Batman. Gordon still believes everything is alright and the system is fine even though it really isn’t. Cops and SWAT team conversations already paint the picture of how corrupt Commissioner Loeb was before he got killed and the cops and SWAT by listening to the conversations. Barbara just already paints a description of how broken the system is, yet Gordon is concerned that oh he’s a vigilante, he’s leaving suspects with broken bones and missing teeth. It’s fine because by the time the game is over and he asked you to get the blackgate escapees he’s more opened minded and cleared the dust from his ears and eyes.

Today Oracle is bound to a wheel chair with devices all over her body monitoring her health plus her computers are tied into Batman's. Still Oracle is a hacker and this scene proves it.)
Wow C.Gordon has the guts to say his team doesn't leave people with broken bones and missing teeth, he's right but he shoots at people and every long time cop like C.Gordon has killed someone before

Every officer in the GCPD needs to be fired except those in the 13th Precinct most of the cops in the 13th are good the rest are bent. Oracle is right the system is broken. Loeb works for Falcone, Falcone works for Fisher, both have ties to Cobblepot and Black Mask, Cobblepot has ties with Two Face, Loeb has ties with Riddler and Jervis, Riddler and Jervis have ties with Hugo Strange, Ivy, Harley, Zsasz, Croc, Suicide Squad, Calendarman, and all of Batman's rouges including Salina Kyle who in fact works for Batman. We all know most of these rouges have ties to three of Batman's enemies Slade, Scarecrow, and Joker but only Slade, Deadshot, Silva, Electrocutioner, Anarchy, Firefly, and Hugo Strange have ties to the League of Assassins. Still Batman needs to convince Jim Gordon that the system is broken and they need to get rid of Loeb and Gordon himself needs to become commissioner.

These are definitely the reasons that the gcpd hates Batman. Not necessarily that he’s a vigilante whose cleaning up the streets, but because he beats them when he needs to
I like how he met Barbara first, and then her father. It's clear that they both have the city's best interest at heart, but she understands from Batman's perspective a little better. Also, Anarky and Bats could learn a lot from each other. P.S. Hope Branden, like Commissioner Loeb, dies by the end of the game for associating with criminals and daring to use a socially respectable position for personal gain.
Barbara: "Wait. Why do you do what you do?" Batman: "Because I made a promise." And people wonder why the "Martha" scene in BVS was there in the first place. Well, look no further than Bruce's answer to Barbara's question right here. You want to know why the name Martha was able to hit Bruce so hard? It's because he believed himself responsible for his mother's death, and had been holding on to that pain for over forty years. And when a man who has the power to destroy an entire planet with a single breath is at the literal boot-heel of a Batman that has officially had enough with mercy and is only interested in the mission and is begging with his last breath to save his mother and the only word that he can get out is his mother's name, you begin to realize that Batman had almost broken his promise to protect the innocent, and Batman was about to be responsible for making another innocent an orphan just like he was made into an orphan years ago. Awesome storytelling in this game just from that one line.
The scene kind of loses its meaning when that same Batman kills people if you ask me. Batman was so traumatized by his parents’ murder that he finds the idea of taking life appalling. He does what he does so no one winds up like him: vengeful and bitter. The thugs on the street he fights while not good people, still have friends and families. If he kills people, the complexities of his character go away and he becomes like the person who ruined his life: a random punk with a gun.

If they did that, it could be considered an act of terrorism and would bring the federal government in. Ending up on a watchlist would make things very difficult for them to conduct business or they’d have a bomb placed in their head and take orders from Waller.

You're watching a video about a dude who runs around at night dressed like a bat who beats up criminals, who also inhabits the same universe as a virtually indestructible alien, a man who can create anything with his raw willpower, a man who can run orders of magnitude faster than light, and a woman who's not only immortal but can eat a direct hit from a rocket launcher. Why are you using sense? It doesn't make any sense!
Parents who say that obviously haven't heard of research saying otherwise: increased reaction time, improved hand-eye coordination, even better skill with staying calm in stressful situations, have all often come from video games

If they did that, it could be considered an act of terrorism and would bring the federal government in. Ending up on a watchlist would make things very difficult for them to conduct business or they’d have a bomb placed in their head and take orders from Waller.
17:25 funniest thing ever
Barbara so cute in such a dorky way 😋
Until she got hotter in Batman the Killing Joker movie and Young Justice.
Bruh shes 15
@@davidcastillo4141 They could be kids
Bro she is literally on Batman's level
29:29 at that moment Gordon knew he fucked up
Anyone watching this in 2016 with me?
Sam Drake me becasue Arkham origins needs to be remastered ASAP
Sam Drake nope
2017 lol
that was shit
Sam Drake no more 2017😆
I like how you makes references to characters and traits like how you zoomed in on harvey dent being elected and the flying graysons. They're coming soon!!!
This guy plays fucking amazing O.o
I usually don't watch perfect gameplay but your the only person that actually good
Those cops are corrupted to the core! Or worse! Batman did what he had to do. Gordon was naive. But he was also young
Yep.
6:56 The Gordon Newspaper headlines!!! Lmaoo
Yes lol how the guy walked past batman
“Smoke in my eyes” 🤣🤣
29:49 Does it ever occur that Captain Gordon is completely oblivious to the fact that GCPD is on the take of every single criminal organizations? to me, I would've already acknowledged Batman's actions, help him escape Branden's trigger happy SWAT team, and have Internal Affairs fire pretty much all of GCPD except Gordon himself.
The music during that predator section is one of the best ones in the game
On 16:47, one of GCPD announcers says that Batman is 6 foot 4 but in his character bio it's says he is 6 foot 2. That's like a bit of an error
They can't get a clear estimate, because there's nobody that can get close enough to give a proper guesstimate.
yeah that's because he dressed up as a bat because he's a gotham's hero vigilante and that's actually for real dispatcher
And also a former criminal that now has the ability stretch, bend and reform himself in a multitude of ways. (Plastic Man)
15:22 that guy alerted everyone that batman was here when he was doing the ground pound.
10:47 How the heck do you get away with hiding a security camera there? You'd think they'd eventually find it and sue.
It’s a game.
God damn that riot combo was sick!
x68 combo... damn
You haven't seen anything yet.
go ahead, amaze me
warr1 I don't think this guy has been hit once ever playing these games :p
he has good control of gaming, he should come out to real world more often
you think so..
Parents who say that obviously haven't heard of research saying otherwise: increased reaction time, improved hand-eye coordination, even better skill with staying calm in stressful situations, have all often come from video games
