Arkham Origins Bane is Bane done right IMO.
He had the best possible combination of brute strength and intelligence. Too bad for the TN-1. He was better off without it.
That elevator scene always gets me. Everytime I think "How on Earth did he know Batman was above?". To me, that's clearly a sign you should never take him lightly. Also loved the reference to Knightfall when Bane discovered Batman's identity.
And JB Blanc's terrific performance speaks for itself.
Fulgore2005 he may be better than Carlos alazraqui Henry Silva hector elizondo and all the other bane voices but not better than Fred Tatasciore
I was thinking how he knew Bats was in the ceiling during the elevator scene was bc maybe he gave himself away by moving around not as silently as he thought as this is early Batman, not Master Vigilante Batman

Yes he is and yes they did ruin it, but they had to since he IS a muscle-bound meat puppet in Arkham Asylum and City.
They had to explain how he went from one of if not the best Bane interpretation in mainstream media to another "Meh" one.
Only thing he's missing is his martial arts skills
To be fair they had to, to explain why he goes from this skilled tactician to the boisterous bruiser he is in Asylum and City. Wish these writers had been on the other games.

6:50 did you notice that? batman saying 'you just ran out of time' is a little easter egg. it is the same line he said to Vicki Vale during the game's intro. which is also a clip which batman finds in bane's hideout when he discovers bane knows his identity. this is how he knew! bruce wayne and batman saying that same line. you can actually see Bane looking at batman funny for a second.

I like how Bane was treated as a possible threat, like a big one when he almost matched Batman’s abilities
He is Batman’s main nemesis. Bane is a villain that can almost beat Batman. He is very capable of matching Batman’s abilities and his every martial arts skills.

@@Chris_Burdick What did you expect to do when it's an ORIGIN story, you idiot. They can't do anything besides make it in a CITY and have him doing similar stuff. They still did a great job at explaining and portraying each defining moment early on in Bruce's career as the Batman. Which is what people wanted anyways.

@@shadowspear899 That would not be his fault. Things can always get better or worse. The most believable case the Joker's death in this game would have prevented countless tragedies. Harly Quinn for example would have never become a criminal. The overwhelming positives outweight the potential bad. Especially since even not regarding Joker things get worse anyway.
I love the Joker's transformation from playful clown to homicidal psychopath....the voice acting is great but the animation that shows the facial expression is spot on as well...

This was one of my favorite Batman arkham games ever the fight with bane was a litttle hard at first, but I've gotten the hang of it now, and learning to beat him using my special attacks, and shock gloves to beat him. I also happen to love the cutscene with joker, bane, and Batman on the roof which was pretty awesome to see where Batman jumps off the roof to save joker for a reason, though I don't know why joker's thugs are helping bane to fight batman? bane's a big guy who can totally fight him own his own.
Best Bane ever since Knightfall, deserves a full game where he's the main boss.

Batman's ability to get tired is actually the deciding factor in Bane's plan during Knightfall. He does, it just takes a really long time.

This is very reminiscent of the Emperor Joker episode of "Batman: The Brave and the Bold", in which Emperor Joker said the same thing before activating the Rube Goldberg death trap on Batman. Did anyone catch that reference?

I still play all the Batman games every Christmas, I remember reading over 600 issues of the comics when I was 13, this version of Bane is by far the most true to the comics.

This is depressing to watch. I have no problem getting through any of the other boss fights, but we I get to Bane everything goes down hill. I struggle here(and next one) so badly. I don't expect to get through it without getting hit, but getting through it without dying one or two times seems impossible for me. I am up to this part on IATK mode. I backed up my save with a USB.
i literally just did it without dying. when he charges jump over the thugs and don't ever counter them, just dodge. only stun bane in his venom state the ultra stun in his normal state will be the death of you!

The difference from this Bane and the Bane from AA and AC is that in the later years he managed to get a bigger venom distributing machine, inyecting him with more venom thus making him bigger and stronger.

I think that's the whole point of the Dark Knight "facade".
A knight never surrenders or gives up. He must protect and serve those he has sworn fealty and loyalty to. Though, Batman never actually "sworn" anything to anyone, he did promise himself that no harm would come to the citizens of Gotham while they were under his watch.
The "Dark" in "Dark Knight" represents the Fear that the criminals feel towards Batman and also his image/icon: "The Scary Bat".

Not physically.
Batman’s mental state is presented well in this game. In the other Arkham games, he’s used to what the criminals in Gotham are like and just remains quiet and calm. This being a younger Batman, he struggles to hide his emotions, and just wants to let out his anger.
And also thought he was a one-man army

Good fight. I found that fighting Bane was as tricky for me as for others. Then again, I knew what to expect form the psycho.
Not during standard gameplay, but in the endless combat challenges in Arkham City he lets himself get hit to end it after he's already gotten the top score.
I feeling like watching a movie in theater's its gets better an better every walkthrough.
Bane boss fight theme is the best soundtrack in this game in my opinion

I will say though, Arkham Origins is my favorite game out of the Arkham series. So good. I wish they would've remastered it.
