Asylum: Scariest.
City: Most Epic.
Origins: Detective work.
Knight: Most Character driven.
no
City doesnt have any you know things that make it stand out, isnt origins most epic cuz off the dope ost and the story plus the cool boss fights
Don’t forget Origins had the best boss fights and cutscenes.
World's greatest detective
“Character driven” I see what you did there
In the last crime scene, when Batman says "Two victims, both shot dead. I know them", I thought he was talking about his parents.
so did I cause it's in crime alley where his parents outlines are at. in arkham city batman can kneel down for a moment of silence to his parents
I agree, that was a reference to the 1989 Batman movie, where Bruce Wayne kneels down and puts a flower next to where his parents were killed
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Chalk outline of the Waynes doesn't appear until the crime scene, right?
TheSMBZfan1, Nope, it can be found at the beginning of the game
That is he's mom and dad
It's such a pity Crime Scene Investigations weren't incorporated into Arkham Knight, beyond that one car crash. Likewise for the martial arts experts, they should definitely have been a part of AK's combat system.
+Liam Pritchard If you've noticed, all enemy types have a specific look in all arkham games. Players need to be able to quickly identify enemies to use effective moves on them. Their outfits help distinguish what kind of enemy you're fighting. Imagine if Shiva/ Ras Al Ghul had male ninjas that dressed like every other thug in the game. It would get annoying getting sliced by one of them because you couldn't tell them apart.
To answer your other question, I think you underestimate Bruce's understanding of mechanical engineering. Lets not forget Bruce has access to one of the most advanced tech companies in the world. He likely has access to whatever parts and blueprints, and research he needs to create certain devices or armor material. Also, don't forget the remote claw isn't his. He simply stole it from Slade.
HOLD UP MR READ COMICS! Detective vision is connected to the bat computer. Bruce is basically ad of Wayne Tech. He has access to the technology. He is also very charismatic and intelligent. He can get his hands on stuff with money. So, he can have detective vision as well as his tech. Also, some of his tech was taken from his enemies.
batman can also make technology himself he doesn't need fox
Because it doesn't make sense.
He did detective work while hunting Professor Pyg.
I love the crime scene investigations in this game, I feel like we never get to see why Batman is the world's greatest detective which is why I'm glad that the Arkham games highlight his deductive skills
25:37
I've never heard Batman so angry than at 41:50. Jesus that's scary.
He almost killed that thug
+bananaman001 Yup
+midniteryder it's not just that he's treating this guy like he was the one who killed his parents
Yeah, history repeat itself. A marriage couple die by gun in the same alleyway where Bruce Wayne parent died. Justice must be paid by vengeance. If I say it right.
+Captain Obvious batsy was really pissed 😯
They should have included The Wayne's murder as a case file. Then Joe Chill could be introduced and it would be the ultimate test of Batmans self control not to kill.
And if an expansion was to made to the came to introduce Nightwing, there could be Dick Grayson trying to find information about Tony Zucco. And since this isn't 100% canon to the comics, why don't they both work together. Joe Chill and Tony Zucco - The cause of Batman and Robin.
Finally someone speaks English.
kingdarkskull What do you mean by that?
Someones understanding and speaking my language. Also a subtle Avengers line even though this is Batman.
U know what that would be pretty interesting
the crime scenes are my favourite part of the game
+draph91 mine are those interrogations and then comes crime scenes
best parts ever lol
same. Hope they come back in Arkham Insurgency
OneSockOff Markham insurgency?
Yusuf Kadri yeah another arkham game done by the same people who made arkham origins rocksteady is finished with the arkham series
Oh, Ian... It was bad enough that he killed two people that Batman knew well, but he also _just_ had to kill them in same place where Batman's parents were murdered... That basically sealed his fate.
and Ian joined the gang of Batman's archenemy and is hanging around said archenemy's Steel Mill lair
38:23 is so creepy easteregg
its hes parents isnt it?¨
yup
38:40 *
Hybrid. I wonder if Batman was so angry because two more people he cared about were shot to death by a coward with a gun in the same alley
What was that a camra?
once Alfred said crazy ass ninjas
Yeah in Ra's al Ghul's story in season of infamy.
Shirley Ramos Ahahah what
ya and?
and how does that relate to this video exactly?
@@lucasbehlke6344 once alfred said crazy ass ninjas
This is one of the things that made this game great, the actual crime scene investigations. Although it was kind of a letdown that the last one did not end in Batman finding his Parent's killer.
@bruhmanofyear2 yes.
So ... it's CSI: Gotham? And it's still better than the actual CSI tv shows.
You gotta wrong! It's C.S.B., Crime Scene Batigation
Mmmbecause itsss..mmmmmmBATMAAAAAAAN!!!!!!
@@MindNumbingInc *LOUD J.JONAH LAUGH*
Too bad batman couldn't figure out the case of Jason Todd
CSI: Gotham coming soon
That interrogation of Ian Chase... You can tell his crime hit too damn close to home for Bruce.
Both of them were killed in Crime Alley and in the same way as Thomas and Martha, except it was a crime of passion rather than robbery.
It’s funny. Batman has his foot on Ian’s head yet he speaks of being unable to breathe
@@chimeraarts2372that's why i always make sure i have him against the wall
Undoubtedly my favorite part in the whole series are the crime scenes. They make you feel like the world's greatest detective.
Criminal: what do you want
Batman: JUSTICE
Batman stop making me giggle.
when did this happened
@@joeferri3491 21:20
Oh, I get it..
Cringe line
Love the detective mode music theme combined with the scaning & electric sounds, adding the commentary of bats and alfred.
41:58 sir is everything alright? Your vital signs are rather.. Erratic
That is when Alfred reasonably knows that the last crime scene he investigated was a constant reminder of his tragic past.
@@iagoluiz8467 love how they did that
7:27 Easily one of the best sequences in the game
true
Imagine Batman punching Ian Chase’s face a lots of times (mr freeze style)
watching this reminds me of how much of a shame it is that Gotham by gaslight wasn't made :(
It is now 😃
That would've made a great game.
42:04 that's actually more deadly than the way he does it when he holds them by hand. Yes, I just noticed he uses his knee.
Love the Crime Scene aspect of Origin's Detective Vision. Clever how it "reenacts" the murders.
Kinda wished the game had more crime scenes to investigate. Just saying.
Look in 25:37,before the great combo he counter the martial artist atack and hits the air, loosing the flawless freeflow bonus at the end of the encounter.I know he continues beeing the best arkham gamer ever. But he´s human too.At least I think.
I wish you could hold the guy at 16:16 over the railing, considering how he committed the murder. I've tried it a dozen times, nada.
you are able to do a interrogation like that, but only at certain railings in the game
he's right, for example at the railing where qing lu, the killer of the coventry fires is, you can hold him over the railing of the deck
@@mcfch8891 That was honestly so weird. I fought him and knocked him down to the ground, then he suddenly teleported there. It's like the game was expecting you to beat him near the railing, not anywhere else. Kinda gave me a bit of a jump, not gonna lie. 😂
looks like the bridge is still damaged from when batman encountered firefly
Mason Holczer well this is set place all in one night so it's logical I'd still be there
6:47. SLAMMED! 😂
Okay, real talk... the crime scenes rewind and fast forward was THE BEST addition to this game and future! I will always love this game!
I absolutely love these Casefile Reports and missions they’re absolutely awesome!!!
Great video! Loved the Casefiles Investigations!!! I hope they make more and more as DLC!
Lacey towers is easily my favorite of all of these
The crime scenes are a definite improvement from the last games' simple linear puzzle crime scenes.
I really like the crime scene investigations. It kinda reminds me of the street crimes from LA Noire.
wow, combining 2 of my fav games (Batman Arkham & LA Noire) into 1 comment, you're my hero :)
LA Noire of 2011
Batman Origins : CSI
Batman did help the CSL crime in Origins game crime scene investigations.
Imagine if the last case was the waynes case instead of the others. Confronting joe chill and batman beats him to almost killing him, until a cutscene appears and he stops.
YTW
It's similar to this one. Same location, close people. Batman also was so angry that the suit detected it that Alfred warned him. Also, a nice little conversation between him and Gordon is a cool part, what's interesting is that Barb made it possible.
Origins is by no means my favourite Arkham game but the investigations have always got me excited, the best in the series
41:48 And here we have it. Arkham Origins predicted the future :D
I shouldn’t have laughed so hard
What future?
Too soon man, too soon
Wow, so funny. You got the whole fuckin' squad laughin'.
@@koleszgdanska7149 think of 2020 and listen to it again
You see this: right here, THIS is why Arkham's batman is my favourite of all modern Batmans.
DCEU's Batman is an Iron-man-like version of Batman.
Nolan's is just a ninja with a few toys.
Moderns animated movie and tv show versions of Batman have him as just an acrobat with toys.
Arkham's Batman however, has Batman as a ninja, and an acrobat, and gadgety, and "The World's greatest detective." Arkham gets Batman, albeit modernized, precisely as he was originally meant to be seen as: Sherlock Holmes in a costume with Gadgets. a "superhero vigilante" and a "Scientific detective."
I can see why they were so few of these. They must be incredibly difficult to produce, not to mention they will by no means be generic every time.
Appreciate that you used the "Holmes-like" outfit for the post game investigations.
Honestly.... some games age well, and this game aged pretty well. It’s 2019 and I really wish this would get remastered for next gen consoles
Tyler Jordan If this game was made by DC and Rocksteady it would be remastered like Arkham Asylum and Arkham City but no Arkham origins was only made by DC it’s not gotta be remastered unfortunately
@@coldweekeneds4324 oh so that's why....i thought its just because Origins still look great to this day and(considering hate it gets) didnt received such honors.
Evidence Scanner scenes sure are my favorites in the Arkham series
Now this is what Batman is all about, fighting prowess and detective skills.
Why does Batman have to submit the evidence to Alfred for analysis sometimes, but is able to do it himself other times? How would evidence submitted by an unknown vigilante like Batman be admissible?
ExcaliburForge Batman is always uploading his evidence to the bar computer Cus that’s how his vision mode works, Batman calling the police up might let the police track him or something? The bat cave is well insulated so getting a call traced their is probably much less likely. Not just that but Alfred can probably send the evidence collected much more succinct and properly than Bruce could include the field. Batman is constantly on the move so he couldn’t just type up emails 😂😂😂. The evidence being admissible however... that’s a tuffy! Given that most of the police at this point in the Arkham story is still corrupt they probably plant evidence a lot and don’t care about due process, but since Gordon is probably getting all this stuff first hand he chooses to trust Batman more than his unit.
Did they really need to put a crime scene in Crime Alley even though his parents already died there?
Thanks, I've waited all day for the answer.
Ok
LivingCorpseX well actually it got the name crime ally *after* the Wayne muderes
Just to add another possibility, I think the crime being committed in Crime Alley was done deliberately to spite Bruce. It is implied by the fact that the killer, the victim and Bruce all knew each other before that incident.
I LOVE THE CASEFILE REPORTS :D i wished they would have been infinite :O
Does anybody know how to change the control button configuration on the PS3 version? I want to change the L and R trigger buttons back to the Arkham City configuration. They are reversed from back to front in Arkham Origins and its confusing as hell.
Man, that detective stuff is really HARDCORE!
Easily my favorite new element of the games, really can't wait 4 the easter eggs
This gameplay mechanic is easily one of the best features in Origins.
thank you for making this
i am a big fan of your work detective
I don't know why people give Arkham Origins guff. Personally i think it's the most Batman thing out there. You actually do detective work.
Barely. He relies on his gadgets. And it was mediocre at best overall
@@GigaChadh976 pff odd complain. With that sentence you can be blame any other batman's games for relying on it.
I like how you zoomed in
I love the reconstruction footage
I end this missions and Gordon don't call me
Sorry for the late reply, but you have to finish the main campaign as well.
This might be the most underrated side mission in the entire arkham series.
The gliding is the most satisfying thing ever.
What a ghost Easter eggs Top 10 of Easter eggs if they put it.
Hey thanks again for goods tips and news updates but do you know of any DLCs coming up. Well thanks again and keep it up
He's okay. Its happened to him in his Asylum Walkthrough and in the Harley's Revenge DLC towards the end.
great job man you are a hero +)
nobody told me that ian chase works for the joker
Black mask first
It's all about that Apex grade and the amount of variations
31:15 Funny Batman mentions murder means life seeing as Gotham clearly has the death penalty in the Arkham universe. The Asylum has a literal electric chair.
I'm sorry...I'll get hate from this...but I feel the other Arkham Games are a lot less bare with character, not knocking the VOICE acting, I'm talking about character. Arkham Origins was the only character focused game in the Arkham series.
Come at me, fanboys.
Wow, 3 years and nobody came at you. I Stroooooooooooooongley dissagree with you though, lol.
man, i really like this guy
The game kept cutting off Batman when he talked to Alfred at the end of the cases for me, so I had to come here to hear what they said.
I want Arkham Origins remasterd for the PS4!!
That would be awesome!!!
Yeah me too but until then i keep playing it on my Xbox 360.
They remastered Arkham Asylum and Arkham City because those games were made by Rocksteady But Arkham Origins was not made by Rocksteady I doubt that Batman Arkham Origins will be remastered for PS4 and Xbox one because this game is almost 7 years old now
that last guy, batman was totally pictonaring his parents killer
This is magic and you can’t convince me otherwise.
Using the Gotham by Gaslight skin was a good choice. Same it and the case files feature didn't come back for Arkham Knight.
I'm the crime alley one but cant get the vent open. it won't let me. what do I do?
I suppose when it's all said and done, even when Batman's CSI casefiles are completed for the night, there's still more work to do, as always.
Oh wow I didn't notice that Easter Egg before when I did this.
People can hate me for this i don't care but this is why Origins might be my favorite game (this or city). This is a mechanic that was perfectly done in this game only. Asylum used it just for tracking ppl down. City had it for identity theft. And knight just had it for the car crash. This was perfect, so spooky yet so cool.
The villain of the Jezabel plaza fall side mission is named Robert Hanes. That name sounds very similar to Robert Kane, the full name of Bob Kane Batman's co-creator. The game describes him as a well known conartist, which bob stole ownership of Batman from Bill Finger, and was known for hiring ghost artist to draw batman comics while he took credit, it wasn't just Bill Finger he did this to. He also did it to Sheldon Moldoff and Frank Springer. I imagine his name is a jab at Bob Kane.
One of my favorite parts of the game.
I thought I would die without seeing you missing a hit.But happened this time 25:38.I am glad that I am not only misses.
Loved this addition from Montreal.
31:23 - Cop in the background was completely oblivious.
Give Sonic a Batman animated series
MasterJo Cohen no
Yes
Watching 41:46 in June 2020 ......oh dear ☹️
Hmph... Wish we could back 5 years back smh
He was a druggie
Bruce's parents sad and mad to
2 dead nice rich people, shot in crime alley, nice touch with the easter egg. I would imagine that would remind him of that
I was a bit disappointed when you couldnt do that respect thing at the crime alley spot
Detective Batman is the best Batman, something that even the mainstream comics tend to dilute or gloss over completely nowadays.
I'm actually looking forward to David Cage's _Detroit: Become Human_ because it's basically this but really fleshed out.
15:20 = "I never make mistakes." - "You're sure about that?"
20:27 = "Gimme a minute! I need to think about this..." - "Time's up!"
30:16 = "I know I'm right" - "No you're not"
How are you able to play the Gotham by Gaslight skin during the campaign. It won't work for my PS3, HELP?
New Game Plus
city had the takedown problem too, it doesn't activate after certain attacks. i've had the counter problem too but rarely, and the enemies are faster than in the other games. city had the leaping too you just need to pay attention and it doesn't happen that often, you just need to react. getting punched by someone else is pretty annoying i agree but that's just because they are faster and would you like to just run around the battlefield just punching everything, never getting hit.
speed is the only change. it takes a while to get used to it but i've already mastered it. it just takes patience.
During Coventry Fire I manged to counter the suspect into the cargo container. I thought it was pretty funny.
i want more of this missions in the next batman game
Thank god I'm not the only one who feels this way. Combat is definitely more frustrating this time around. I personally blame the increased amount of armoured thugs and shield-users. Throwing a batarang and having it automatically hit someone wearing armour really infuriates me.
Why gordon didn't contact me and the end of the final crime investigation?
You have to finish the main campaign as well
Plain awesome!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought it was Interesting when batman interrogated ian chase, you could hear the anger in his voice
Same.
I have only one issue when it comes to the case files is they added that red trail when you need to scrub to look for an item ie the tail roter or the breifcase didnt make me feel like i was following the item just its trail
how do we unlock last most wanted? is it part of this side mission of solving casefiles?
can you do the shadow vigilante guide. please this is my video request?
Strange after that last one Gordian didn't contact me what happened
Complete the other Most Wanted's and the main Storyline.
acadeacumenta yeah ok already got him now thanks
Poor Bruce...
That last case was obviously, for him, leaving through the night his parents were murdered all over again.
wolfguy23 In the last case you can actually see Martha and Thomas Wayne
