9:05 that flash isnt good either, you should make sure the eye is visible from the angle you are peeking. In this case, it isnt, and it wont flash the enemy. You could try flashing to the right and up for example, it will blind the enemy and then make a difficult flick from the eye to where you are!
The cypher trip on 5:55 is meant for when you're pushing A, so it doesnt matter that you can jump over it from that side The same goes for the first one 5:51 , but the other way around
In the 5:51 one, Cypher is peeking mid, so you're right, it's to avoid pushes from A. But the 5:55 one is just wrong. Cypher is peeking C long, so the trip is supposed to prevent pushes from A but it doesn't do its job.
11:10 careful on these traps cus the lurker is most probably a smoker or jett/neon they can easily smoke it off without anyone knowing Edit: they can also destroy it and rotate back to site to create pressure
I’m a brim main in dia 2/3 so i have some extra tips/info. Ulting and prefiring/holding gives so many free kills because they 90% of the time hold their knife out when running away. Also learn some brim ult spots on attack. Some spots are very strong for taking site and usually give decent damage or free kills (when using this try not to use it if you know the person that is playing there is chamber they can tp away and it’s kind of a waste then). For example lamps on bind and tower on fracture. The good thing about ulting these spots is they either have to run far away to get away from the ult or run out into your aim to avoid dying to the ult. Another tip with brimstone is if possible on attack try and keep your molly for post plant if you shoot your molly straight up in the sky right after the beeping of the spike has it’s first speed up it will be really hard for them to defuse. The reason for this is that the spike takes 45 seconds to explode and after the first speed up there will be only 20 seconds left until the spike explodes. When you shoot the molly straight up in the sky it takes about 7/8 seconds for it to land on the spike then it lasts for 8 seconds and then they will only have 4/5 second left which they won’t be able to defuse unless it has already been halfed. What i usually do when it looks like we are about to be overrun is. I smoke right on the spike 3/4 beeps after the spike has been planted i wait in the smoke try to survive until i hear the spike speed up ( try and still help your team but also try to survive). Then when i hear the spike speed up i stand right in the middle shoot my molly up and then try to damage the remaining defenders. The only way they will be able to defuse it is when one of them who is full hp goes on the spike and tries to defuse it right before the molly lands he will die to the molly and half it then after the molly is done someone can do the other half. Other then that there will not really be a way for them to defuse it the only other way is when you shoot your molly up and someone kills you right away and starts defusing immediately after he kills you. Sorry for the long read if someone actually reads this but have a great day 😁😁
As a Cypher main, depending on how the enemies play, using your entire set up on one spot can win you a round. If you notice they push B every time, try to cover more flanks for one round. If they don't come you can always take back your trips and ask a teammate to smole them if they have smokes
Fun Fact about TPs (if you didn't know) When you TP, you will be facing the same area you were aiming in. That means, if you are TPing with Yoru, Omen, or Chamber, you should always look towards wherever you're flanking. This is also important for Chamber, who might get camped from his TP.
I used to be a Sage main, but I changed it because when playing Sage I always felt like I have no freedom. Always teammates telling me things to do like wall there, asks for heal when he is really far from me. But when I stopped listening to them and played with some freedom, I did pretty good. For example I didn't wall and my teammates yelled at me but I used my wall for defusing and when it worked, they didn't yell at me again
At 5:52 The traps are very dependent on the situation. The first trap is good to stop the A-Push because he can't jump from Main above. The second trap is for stopping the lurk when you push A. ^^
The cypher trips on Haven are for enemies pushing from the other side. When people are coming from A main to garden they can’t get over the trip. And when enemies try to flank via window into garden, they can’t jump over the trip near the doorway. It depends on where you team goes or how you want to play as cypher :)
0:20 actually this Astra's ult is pretend to be fast plant that do post plant execute and u need to plant in that wooden corner so you can peek from short too. The main reason this work in pro play cuz usually they make Jett to plant the spike then dash back. Meanwhile the defender need to peek outside the Astra's wall which is defender likely detected by Sova's recon/drone so its a high risk play
I agree entirely with all of the Fade statements. I do want to add that from experience, you don’t need to constantly use lineups. They become so predictable after a few rounds.
This! Lineups maybe 4 times at most, then play on site. Versed a viper who kept going for her lineups despite us killing her every round for it and she still didn't learn her lesson

As a 100 hour Viper main, I’ve really started to go off from her as it’s so common to have people who heavily prioritise lineups over gameplay, and so recently I’ve started to drop all my lineup practices (I still obviously remember a few), but I’m really trying to reduce how many I do, purely because of needing to support my team in some scenarios. People really seem to try to wanna learn lineups for every agent, but sometimes it’s better to just play on site instead.
First cypher trip is to stop them lurking from a when you are c. Second is when you play a and they can’t go from behind so actually good trips but depend on situation 5:53 btw
First astra mistake is actually nott a mistake. When walling for a small place, make it extremely small and once plant( must hold planter), come back to main and play postt with suck and stun. Super useful and actually used a lot in pro play.
its a mistake in higher elo, my immo acc peole get info (sova and other shit like that) and you can knife an opponent thorugh the wall so its an easy kill if he's close to the wall
@@phoenixflamegames1 They can, but like i said with 4 or 3 people watching the planter there is a rare chance of them peaking out and killing the planter.
@@n1ghtglare the chances of knife is slim, but yes it can happen and if so as a teammate holding the planter you can swing out and trade the person who killed your planter

11:14 or an enemy can make you think they are still flanking by destroying your trap. Now you are constantly thinking that someone might be flanking you. The safest way to put up a trap is make sure that it covers everything, like on that situation you can place it the side of the ramp. Only way they can deny it from detecting them is they smoked it or they're playing Omen/Jett that has an ability to dodge it.
3:50 blast packs are very effective while diffusing spike in 1v1 situations, throw a blast pack near the spike then half it , and blast the blast pack manually . Works very well against operator
About killjoy, many people on silver-gold don't know that you can break killjoy's grenades. When they planting spike and see killjoy's grenade, they just do nothing or switching position to plant.
As a cypher main, placing trips on flank on attack is annoying because if you rotate you probably can jump over them (what happened in the clip you showed) so always on attack if you rotate pick up your trips and place them in a better spot or save them for postplant because people’s brains just can’t register a trip on site on attack
As a cypher main both tripwire you show us are 1st is to hold the a main push when you push other site, and the 2nd one is to hold flank when your team pushing a
11:13 the main problem with doing this is that if they have a smoke or a tp or something then ur trap is kinda useless, they know where it is but it still can be useful in situations Anyways banger vid as always
5:18 this is not a mistake anymore becouse of the next patch so don't be afraid loosing your armor, with the next patch you will not loose armor anymore
5:53 that trip are mean to catch someone flank from A, but yeah its a little bit too low. 5:54 that trip mean to catch someone from window&mid that try to flank to A. The high of the trip is also correct I think. The thing this cypher do wrong is combining a 2 conflicting trip, the trip itself is correct. The better trip would be repositioning the first trip to the inside of A main to change it function from catching A flanker to catching mid&window flanker, since from what i see ur team are trying to push A. If ur team decide to push A again next round then u can use the second trip as a variation since it also do a same job.
for 11:12 that might not work, say someone is going to flank you but they see the trap, destroy it, then go back to their team. You will be stuck back there without your team even though no one is actually flanking
I main kj and one of my pet peeve with kj users is that they over looked how op the turret is sometimes and just places the turret without considering if it's ganna detect enemies, they keep forgetting that the kj keeps an eye on flank and use the alarm bot near for postplant, and the worst of all is that they save up their swarms for on the moments it's most useful and underestimate how big of an aoe it has. Just a mini rant, but I really do recommend trying out agents you rarely use but want to use on custom first, because you're ganna miss out on alot of creative ways to play that agent and who knows you just might find your new main
Whenever I see those right click kayo flashes on the ledge that dont flash you, my heart rate goes up by 200. To avoid a potential heart attack, I dont use it. Nor do I play kayo.
The Cypher tripwires weren't actually that bad, he just uses them in the wrong order, the first tripwire is for rounds where you push to b or c, the second one is for when you push a. They're both unavoidable in those scenarios.
Hello MrLowlander!I wanted to mention, the chamber trap trick on icebox, the clip is not very good because, that trap can be shot out from under tube in middle, instead, you should place it just enough to the point where mid can't see it and it still covers 2 angles.
on killjoy you can actually recall both your alarm and your turret by holding both buttons at the same time and you can animation cancel it by pulling out your gun or knife after the little bar on the bottom is charged and your util is recharging
holy shit thank you so much! i'd been struggling with my older version of element but this one is perfect Thank you so much! I swear non of the other tutorials worked but this one did! ily
My favorite tio on Omen in Icebox, teleport on the containers where the attackers side go to their left. Teleport on the very top and catch them by surprise since nobody looks up in this game hahaha
My cousin is an ascendant and his advice for chamber was to buy 5 bullets for the headhunter and honestly it’s helped so much. If I’m in a fight and I need to reload I could just pull out the headhunter and easy peasy kill for me. It helps a lot in save rounds, the first round, and when you switch sides since it only costs 500 and you can still get all your util. Yeah you need to use a classic but the classic is still pretty good.
5:50 im a cypher main myself and i do this one tripwire too... but the difference is that im using it when we all go a and expect someone to push from b or c. If we don't go for a i put the wire firectly on the door, where the stairs are so they cant pass it ;) and a tripwire on the defender entrance towards middle to deny the push of the enemys from there. So yes, im using my brain as cypher, don't worry :D edit: but the tripwire where you jumped over on a, i'm used to put it on the other side of the entrance (i'm silver 1 btw and the enemys don't think about jumping over it :D so thanks for letting me know because i honestly wasn't thinking about it either)
11:10 hiding is actually better then what you did because a viper, jett omen etc can smoke the trap off and you get flanked completely unaware and 11:34 if you play operator for example you can buy all bullets and switch faster and be more acurate then with a shorty on range for example
As a sage main, a good off angle is in ascent on defender side you can place your wall on the boxes at mid doorway (near mid market) and go on top the wall by placing it under you and easy kills! another good wall is on ascent where you can wall the entry for a site (near a tree) and boost yourself so once they break it you might get 1 kill 1 death, it'd be a nice trade and your teammates would know where the enemies are. Also, don't be like a sage i met, help your teammates. Stick with em on attack so you can heal, res, slow, etc and on defender if someone needs a heal don't be lazy and say "I'm lurking". thats silly, go and help. you (nearly) always have time to rotate if you pay attention.
Heres a thing i always do with omen. When i have ult, i tp to a place where no one suspects me, and it works out almost everytime i do so and i get kills and outplay them
What I personally do, is when, I have a but round and get a vandal and a shield, with chamber... You don't actually have an ability rather than your trademark and rendezvous, so I often have some money left, I get only one or two bullets of headhunter, so that I can save it for the save round if needed...
For astra u can use all of her ability in astral form which make it faster and more sufficient to smoke for entry’s. Some people tend to place stars then exit astral form then caste the ability.
5:50 cypher trap is fine for A defenders flank if you push B or C 5:55 is a trap for B(mid) and C defenders flank if you push A and btw i’m radiant 4 acts cypher main good tips thought
5:51 just for u to know the first one is to prevent enemies that would try to push a site and the 2gn one is to cover the back when ur team is playing A site

skye tips: learn how to pop flash. also, the bird can be hard to control when you are trying to navigate it around corners. try making it brush against the wall so you dont have to make sharp turns with the mouse.
On the ending chamber tip the q one a good way to avoid buying all at once is doing something similar to what i do, buying 3 if i lose buying 4 if i win
A bit late but at 5:53 each trip helps eachother out, i someone tries to flank they will be stopped by the second one but if you rotate they will get stopped by the first one. That spot is hard to put trips on so I do the same
11:13 I usually disagree with those chambers not-hidden traps, you are basically leaving a trap that can be seen from very very far away, I can shot it from below kitchen then enter from screens, and you think i'm going from behind, if you'll leave it at open, at least ensure nobody can shot it if is not really close
5:50 you forgot to mention that you’re jumping from the inside. People from window and from mid cannot cross that without 1. Using an ability or 2. Shooting the nodes. It is a good wire but it will get shot, meaning you only get info.
ngl for brim super long range lineups can be useful. just know a handful(less than 3) 1 for each site, especially if the enemy team has many frags who like to push push. And learn some defense mollies
I don´t play Viper that often but what I would advice is. Don´t always go for the same post plant lineup. Usually after seeing it 2 times in a row we first rotate from attacker spawn to kill the lineup larry offguard.
When I first started laying this game, I memorized like 5-10 lineups per map before even playing my first 1p games. I just have a good memory and enjoy thinking.

Hello MrLowlander!I wanted to mention, the chamber trap trick on icebox, the clip is not very good because, that trap can be shot out from under tube in middle, instead, you should place it just enough to the point where mid can't see it and it still covers 2 angles.
yup a pretty bad trap (if enemy is smart)
7:25 its a tiger not a doggo lol ik i am late
on killjoy you can actually recall both your alarm and your turret by holding both buttons at the same time and you can animation cancel it by pulling out your gun or knife after the little bar on the bottom is charged and your util is recharging
holy shit thank you so much! i'd been struggling with my older version of element but this one is perfect Thank you so much!
So yes, im using my brain as cypher, don't worry :D
edit: but the tripwire where you jumped over on a, i'm used to put it on the other side of the entrance (i'm silver 1 btw and the enemys don't think about jumping over it :D so thanks for letting me know because i honestly wasn't thinking about it either)
11:10 hiding is actually better then what you did because a viper, jett omen etc can smoke the trap off and you get flanked completely unaware
and 11:34 if you play operator for example you can buy all bullets and switch faster and be more acurate then with a shorty on range for example
Yeah maybe once but the problem is once they know it's there they can just walk around without having to make noise of putting their smoke down.
Straight and to the point with every tip, I appreciate it.
7:02
ayo mrlowlander?
no way u said that
Thank you so much you really helped me get better with Reyna I used to be jett main now I’m Reyna thanks for helping with the switch
7:46 I agree because when the pearl map was newly released, I immediately made my own lineups using kay/o 😆😆
Is this scam or what? I really won a pc? Just asking
@@itzjaeee1002 is a scam
@@Aidan_for_real yeah he stop chatting me cause hes too obvious LMAO
Heres a thing i always do with omen. When i have ult, i tp to a place where no one suspects me, and it works out almost everytime i do so and i get kills and outplay them
Also about the Omen TP, you could use it to see who is pushing what site by just tp'ing near them at the start.
Very helpful, ty. Didn't know some of these like the phoenix one
5:50 cypher trap is fine for A defenders flank if you push B or C
5:55 is a trap for B(mid) and C defenders flank if you push A
and btw i’m radiant 4 acts cypher main
good tips thought
5:17 that's no longer an issue, armor replenishes completely.
6:53 when you place one of the nades in the house with the switch enemys will have less time to kill them / be less likely to ez kills for you
That thing about Cypher Traps, often i place them to force their jumps, so i hear them doing it and go for a kill when they jumped =D
Your content is so good always enjoy watching them
5:19 with the phoenix buff u dont lose ur amror anymore btw
4:28 He's walking like he's Drunk.
5:51 just for u to know the first one is to prevent enemies that would try to push a site and the 2gn one is to cover the back when ur team is playing A site
Ab trips, haven a trips ,1 which’s closer to lobby is vs a push, closer to mid window is for mid push
Yoru tip - flash your TP backsite but listen for shooting if there is somebody is camping your TP so don't take it!
I feel like everyone above plat already knows all of this. Mr LowLander, pls consider making an even more in-depth guide. It might take time, but it'll be definitive. :) thanks
well, 90% of the playerbase is below plat so
another kj tip is that u can retract ur alarmbot and ur turret at the same time by holding the button so u save a few seconds.
about the phoenix armor on the new update your going to have it back after your ultimate
skye tips: learn how to pop flash. also, the bird can be hard to control when you are trying to navigate it around corners. try making it brush against the wall so you dont have to make sharp turns with the mouse.
Knew most of it... But still on gold becoz of random teammates... Don't have friends : (
On the ending chamber tip the q one a good way to avoid buying all at once is doing something similar to what i do, buying 3 if i lose buying 4 if i win
MrLowlander: chill out when you have your ultimate
20seconds later~
MrLowlander: Dont chill when you use your ulti
Love these videos man!
10:20 using omen as an example but talking about brimstone that's funny.
Btw chambers trip in the middle might not work because there is a range for how far his trip can shoot. Plus hiding doesn’t change anything really
A bit late but at 5:53 each trip helps eachother out, i someone tries to flank they will be stopped by the second one but if you rotate they will get stopped by the first one. That spot is hard to put trips on so I do the same
Easy Peezy My friend ! love u man been here since the first tips and tricks vid
about reyna, if you throw the eye like you do in the clip, the enemy can pick with 0 problem, the eye its so far away to the corner
you mostly dont need Cage lineups because you learn a Lot of Setups with cypher anyways
I’m traveling to Croatia and I am stopping in the Netherlands for a 7 hour layover. Thanks for the amazing content!
5:22 he doesnt lose armor after the buff
5:50 you forgot to mention that you’re jumping from the inside. People from window and from mid cannot cross that without 1. Using an ability or 2. Shooting the nodes. It is a good wire but it will get shot, meaning you only get info.
ngl for brim super long range lineups can be useful. just know a handful(less than 3) 1 for each site, especially if the enemy team has many frags who like to push push. And learn some defense mollies
In icebox while attacking, you can put the ramp below the ramp like aside it, it will cover all and is pretty much hidden
I don´t play Viper that often but what I would advice is. Don´t always go for the same post plant lineup. Usually after seeing it 2 times in a row we first rotate from attacker spawn to kill the lineup larry offguard.
Astra: 0:14
Neon: 0:48

5:20 That is being changed next patch. You will no longer lose your shields.
5:21 they will buff phoenix soon to where u keep the armor after ulting
When I first started laying this game, I memorized like 5-10 lineups per map before even playing my first 1p games. I just have a good memory and enjoy thinking.
