    Hi friends. Even with the park being crowded, it looks like you have plenty of tree cover. It's great to know that there are some sites that are not big rig friendly. Thank you for sharing this park with us.

      Thanks for watching 😀 We were surprised how quiet it was even though it was busy. 🦗🦗🦗

    Thank you so much for this. I especially love how you mention the specific campsites that you like (and why). Please keep that up when reviewing things in the future -- no one else does that!

    I watched the other video first then thought I would look to see if I have missed any videos and realized these are part 1 & 2 . Just a friendly suggestion, if you are doing a 2 part vlog you may want to put it in the main title. Great vids BTW. Never been there even though we live in Penticton. Lol. Will have to check it out.

    • @HomeARoam
      @HomeARoam  3 роки тому

      Ah yes, they were both filmed at the same location. We used to have episode numbers to help keep track of what came first, but you're right the next time we might actually number them so we're not referencing things that people haven't seen yet! 😀 Thanks for the tip.

    Great campsite. I bet it's all full in the summer. No bugs yet in the spring. That's a plus. Site nr 2 is booked until 2030. not a chance.

    • @HomeARoam
      @HomeARoam  3 роки тому

      Oh yeah, it's an extremely popular one, but pretty much anything within a few hours of Vancouver is booked solid for the summer.

    first of all, anything with "Sasquatch" is cool... lol That lake was awesome and those trees growing out of that stump was weird... I've heard sometimes butterflies become sasquatch. Not sure if it's true, but it could be... But more important, I'd be fishing for sure... Great video, guys!!! God bless.. Kevin and Kristi

    • @HomeARoam
      @HomeARoam  3 роки тому +1

      Neat! Haven't heard of the butterflies become sasquatch before. I wonder if that is a First Nation's story specific to a particular tribe? According to a First Nations tribe here, sasquatch are shape shifters which is why they will never be caught.

      @@HomeARoam Sasquatch are funny, too. There was allegedly one named Harry who had a tv show back in the 80s but I think that was fake. Lol

      The smaller rigs can definitely fit into a lot more spots, but there are also sacrifices with them.

    it would be nice to know the private small spots for tent campers :)

    • @HomeARoam
      @HomeARoam  3 роки тому

      Hi Margaret, thanks for the feedback. We'll keep that in mind for future reviews. Yes, our video doesn't mention those sites, but our blog post indicates which sites are for tents only in the site info chart. Thanks again 😃

    Is there a place near the campground where you can fish from the shore?

    • @HomeARoam
      @HomeARoam  2 роки тому

      Hi, good question. From what we remember there is both shore and boat finishing available, but it would be best to speak to the park operators about where the best spots are.

    Im being picky but when youre addressing us viewers, I think a little bit more persoanl touch would be to let us see your eyes. Just a hint on connecting a little more with possible subscribers. Ya, not trying to stir the pot, just think it draws people in more so. What do you think?

      Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I (Jay) do actually tend to wear sunglasses a lot. It's actually a bit tough filming when it's bright without sunglasses. 🌞 But a good point that it might be better to film more without them!
