Nicely done! Petscii is very efficient: A whole screen of graphics is only 40 x 25 characters, or 1000 bytes (plus some additional for color information, if needed)! Reminds of the cool times going to BBSes and seeing some of the clever BBS 'cover screens' that were around. Some were even animated! Ah, good times (even though it was super slow at 300 baud!) JW3HH
You should always keep true drive emulation on by default to avoid problems. There's always alt+w to speed up loading. Dunno if the shortcut is the same on macs tho.
Another note of importance I read today in CSDB forums: in vice, the 1581 is not emuled as good as the 1541. So if you have the choice between a 1541 or 1581 version of a demo or proggy, choose the 1541 (and download the .d64 images, not the .d81)
5 years "old" and already legendary!!!
what kind of sorcery is this?
Mind blown... Just loved it and brought back great memories..
Wonderful music in this one!
Fantastic! Unbelievable. I just made with my kids few PETSCII dinosaurs and dragons, but after seeing this my mind is blown! Full of ideas :-)
Just brilliant. Gotta love PETSCII. :)
Absolutely stunning!

PETSCII sux, or so I thought until this demo and Shareware came along. These guys are very creative with this limited font. Amazing!
Excellent!
cool
I can't get the .d64 to load in Vice (Mac OS) are there some special instructions to load this in emulation?
I'd say "true drive emulation" and PAL mode...
aha, it was the true drive emulation, thanks!
