Treat the "ogre" with compassion rather than attempt to wake ourselves up. In doing so, we try to use the lucid dream to integrate the conflict our unconscious is conveying to us. Clever and interesting!
Karen R. Konkoly....I have been practicing to go from my current age dream state to my younger age dream state to communicate. I have reached a point of connection and next I am going to try to share information that will be with me when I awake in my current age....any suggestions?
So for this is up there with the best talks on LD But.............. please explain a sure fire way to have a Lucid dream in clear simple terms! or is that impossible?
Building the skills to lucid dream on a regular basis take time and commitment. The foundation of learning to lucid dream is taking the time to learn a lot about your dream world so that you can recognize when you are dreaming and when you are awake. Lucid dreamers are essentially dream detectives, always on the lookout for those subtle clues that what they are experiencing at that moment is a dream. So, begin with writing down your dreams and noting the differences between your dream world and your waking world (dream signs). You can't visit a world that you are not very familiar with, right? From there, I would suggest checking out Lucid Dream Portal here on UA-cam on what to do next : )
If this is the best talk ever on lucid dreaming then I don't want to see any of the lesser ones! Just my opinion, but this is the worst Ted -related talk I've ever seen, and one of the worst talks in general. Sorry, don't mean to be negative, but that's the way I saw it. Then again, maybe this is all just a non-lucid dream I'm having...
Lucid dreaming is an amazing thing
Agree, you’re bright and have a lot to share with is all. But you have to slow down and breathe. Can’t wait to see you in another video!! Great job
This is the best talk anywhere ever on Lucid Dreaming.

Saying it's a bad talk doesn't mean anything without some explanation. Why did you see it that way?
It was a great talk in my view.
