I am very enthusiastic about your work and even more enthusiastic about the way you make the companies that do not pay anything unrecognizable. Absolutely right.
Who on Earth are those people who dislike the video? What do they dislike?! Cris, you did some "casually" cool stuff, again as always. I love your chairs, your cinematics, your music, so keep on going!
I love it. Your cinematic skills match your wood working skills. I learn and am entertained at the same time. Thank you too for describing the bolts, so I now know their proper names.
5:44 That Peer Gynt bit brought tears to my eyes! Why? Hell if I know, but I thought it was beautiful on so many levels: the love for the work, the love for the material, the love for the tools being used, the dedication to creating something beautiful, the dedication to art, to creativity and the love for sharing an experience in the most artistic way... I don't know, all these buttons were pushed on my end, I think. Damn! Choked up! But I'm good now... ;-) 16:19 It is such a pleasure to watch you work, and your narration afterwards. And I love the chair's reverse engineered design! Slightly reminiscent of FLW, Bauhaus combo. And it must have been a pleasure to build these chairs, even I can warp my brain around achieving this! Normally my motor skills and hand eye coordination, combined with a wandering brain culminate in a D for the correct spelling of my own name... But I can do this! I'm afraid I'm falling in love with you!! (I mean your work, of course ;-)
Great to see such a build, without having to use professional and expensive tools. Another great video. One can only admire the simplicity yet effectiveness of it. Parabéns
Класс! Да с твоими инструментами ты целый день потратил на это кресло а без станков целую неделю только подготовкой заниматься а так все супер респект!
A very interesting build, I think I will get the plans and make some. I have lots of treated Deck Boards which are approx 28mm in your size that I will use.
Beautifully designed and well made. I would have had big fears that those planks would warp and crack when I started cutting them.. Yours were great. Beautiful wood. Why use them outside? They are a great size for that next entertainment session ... whenever that may be ... Stay safe and keep working. Shake it.
Such a great lot of really informative knowledge that you are sharing here. I’m a newby woodworker and I’m learning skills as I go. I always find your videos clear and I always pick up something from every one. Thanks for the inspo!
GHD, while the spruce may not weather as well as a cedar- it sure looks great in the final chair! lovely clear grain and nice design! You could use a soaking epoxy as the initial water sealing or encapsulation- then the moisture resistance of the wood would be enhanced? Thanks for posting.

outstanding tip on removing more wood (via the plane) on the ends. Loved the music. You are a very talented woodworker.
I love it. Your cinematic skills match your wood working skills. I learn and am entertained at the same time. Thank you too for describing the bolts, so I now know their proper names.
Building something is a thing. Giving instructions to build something is completely a different thing. You got both!
Apart from the quality woodworking, I think you are an fantastic video maker and excellent storyteller.
Nice work and the shavings with the hand plane were spectacular.
