If you go that route.... Then DAS, added fuel booster, flexing component etc etc.... Everybody does it mate... Also by allowing McLaren used flexi front wing FIA had opened the can of worms saying any team can create something which just have to qualify from FIA tests and not by their usual BS of spirit of the regulations. That's why you see Merc trying DAS again with a lot of driving inputs going into their steering wheel compared to others , if anyone brings a double diffuser in a hidden format don't wonder then. I am expecting the teams to curve the rules more now after FIA had allowed the flexing parts in the car last season.

@@DineshKumar-iu5pl DAS was run by the fia before Mercedes implemented. It was only after the fact that it was banned because teams were complaining. Asymmetrical or uneven braking was already illegal. Clarifying the rule that an extra component can't result in asymmetrical braking just reinforces an existing rule. When DAS was removed the following year Mercedes didn't have an extreme drop off like RB did after the rule clarification for an already illegal braking bias. So no it isn't the same. Claiming Max can get a 70% car and match a top driver is laughable. If RB is not in the top 3 after the first 5 races in 2025 it means the car was built around an already illegal braking bias regulation since the start of the new regs in 2022. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
